Above the Top is AMAZING!! They are so easy to work with and did the most incredible job transforming the Westdrift Hotel in Manhattan Beach into a Moroccan enclave for a large charity event. The tenting and props were so colorful and beautiful. The wrapped dance floor was perfection. They were on time with set up and take down and the entire staff is friendly and extremely helpful. I've used them for many special events over the years and they never disappoint. I can't recommend them highly enough. Best value and service around by far!

We got SO much feedback about how beautiful our summer outdoor wedding was and it wouldn’t have been possible without Above the Top! Corey helped us out and was super accessible and helpful throughout the process with both feedback and suggestions. He definitely knows his stuff. We went with Above the Top because they really are a one-stop-shop for everything we needed including having the ability to customize decor as a production shop as well. We got to tour their warehouse followed by a sit down meeting to vision plan around our venue. Our floral arch and the platform we stood on for the ceremony, our chivari chairs for guests and sweetheart chair for the ceremony, our stage with custom monogram decal on it, giant LOVE led and uplighting, etc all brought the day together, Everything looked stunning and I’m truly impressed by lengths they go to to make every event look spectacular. Thanks guys!

Jessica really delivered one of the most magical and incredible events I've ever seen. I was one of the DJs for an event at AV Irvine and I had the pleasure of seeing her talents come into fruition. From the beginning, she was in contact with the couple on all the small details and held meetings with all of us to make sure the vision would come to life. From the second we walked into the venue you could feel the love she poured into every inch of the wedding. During ceremony it started sprinkling and her partner Scott was quick to protect our DJ equipment with umbrellas and made sure everyone was taken care of. Seeing the couple walk into the venue in tears from her hard work was beautiful to see. I can't wait to work with Jessica again in the future and congratulations to her for pulling off a truly unforgettable wedding.

I have been a professional wedding designer for over 12 years. Never in my 12 years have I found such an amazing group of people to work with that can make any of my couples wedding dreams come true. This is not just a party rental place. What I want is for people to understand that every single person who works here is a designer and is amazing at what they do. If you let them help you and you tell them exactly what you want I guarantee that they will make this come true for you. I’m also very appalled to read these negative reviews that are bullying and harassing these people that I very much love and respect and I am so grateful and lucky to have had the chance to work with them and meet them. Everyone here is a creative so please understand that when you get your estimate or cost that it’s not just them renting out an item to you it is the hours and hours of work they go into them making what you want a reality. Please understand and have respect for that. And if you don’t, then you don’t deserve the chance to work with them.

I reached out to Jessica to help me plan my wedding event. I went with this place as I wanted something out of the ordinary for my event. On Aug 30th I met with Jessica, talked about the ideas I wanted for my event. First of all, She gave me a business card and asked to send pictures of where the event was going to take place. That business card was not updated so I texted a random number pictures of our relatives house. Did not receive an answer from her so I emailed the pictures to her email. I didn't hear anything from her until I called the office and told me she was out sick.... I reached out on Sept 7 and Jessica told me she would be out of town until the 26. I responded and agreed to that date but again did not receive confirmation from her that the appointment was confirmed. I call on Aug 19 and asked what is going on with my event designer Jessica. She hasn't confirm anything, and measurements haven't been done at all to start the process of what additions we would like to add to the event. The office tells me they will make a note of this and get back to me. The next day Jessica calls apologizes and tells me that she will have time for me and the party. I tell her multiple times that I would prefer a different event designer as she doesn't have time for me. She refuses to change event designer and I give her another chance. Jessica tells me she is busy but ACTUALLY has time for me on Wednesday at 5pm to make measurements. Sure enough the next day 15 mins before the appointment she CANCELLED on me. My time was wasted and I was upset cause again she was being unprofessional and felt unimportant for this company. I called the office once again and spoke to Roger and explained to him that Jessica just cancelled on me and this isn't the first time I been having trouble with her. He apologizes and tells me there are only 5 people working and it's been busy. Again, all I'm asking is to take measurements and start the decoration cause my event is ONE MONTH AWAY... I ask for a different event planner again. Roger agrees to come the next day and text me the confirmation... And did you know what happened next? YUP! no text confirmation from him as well. I took my business to Party N Fun cause at least they already knows what I want and aren't unprofessional like this business. I really didn't care how much I spend on this as I wanted the best decorations and the most creative but honestly they didn't seem interested and I already wasted a month because of them. Thanks a lot for WASTING A WHOLE MONTH of my time.
