We had a BLAST!!!! This was my 3rd Whitewater rafting experience and it was our best experience, by far. It was exhilarating, FUN, thrilling and INCREDIBLE!!!! Zach was Awesome! Annica was friendly, humble and helpful. Melanie had excellent customer service and Ben is a true leader.

We loved Delaney’s personality and the bus driver Terry was chill and down to earth. Thank you for EVERYTHING!!!!!!

My youngest son (18) and I were visiting my middle son (20) in FC for the week. It’s so hard getting young men to decide what to do or provide ideas. I booked our adventure for an afternoon and rallied the boys. We had an amazing trip, the staff was super friendly and helpful, our raft Captain was amazing and the people we got paired with in our raft were so much fun. We will definitely go back on our next visit. Thank you A1 for being the platform for a wonderful family memory.

My family took the 1:00pm Wild & Scenic trip on the Cache la Poudre with the crew at A1 Wildwater. If I had to give a brief summary it would be, AMAZING trip, phenomenal river guide, wonderful life-long memory with my wife and teenage daughters, and wished we could do it all over again!

Now a little more. We made reservations 4 weeks in advance which was a very smart move as the spots filled up very quickly and had we waited to get a spot day of, or even a week or two earlier it would have been slim pickings for a family of four.

We arrives and check-in was simple. Enter, fill out waivers, give our name and ID and they had our reservation already printed out at desk. Next was to wait a bit for the guides to finish with the earlier group which was just arriving when we got there. Then we were fitted for PFD and helmets and then had an incredibly informative and yet entertaining safety briefing by Kevin aka "River Jesus." Following the briefing we headed to the bus to begin the ride to the put in which took about 25 minutes. I will say that we arrived 30 minutes early and we did not actually get into the water until nearly 2 hours later, so patience is important, but was still well worth it.

Our guide Zach was incredible. He was funny (OK, maybe we laughed at his jokes so he wouldn't feel bad). 🙂 In reality beyond his great humor, he was an excellent instructor and then once on the river was so encouraging and provided expert guidance. This not only kept us all feeling confident in our abilities but he got us on the best lines through the rapids and even challenged us to try some challenging maneuvers which we handled as a team. With that said, all the other guides had a high level of enthusiasm and watching the other rafts it seemed that they equally had a great time. The river had many Class 3 and 4 rapids and some persented real challenges but they were incredible!

In short, reserve early, prepare to wait a bit, expect the water to be COLD (don't worry, you warm up within the first few minutes), prepare to work for your fun (yes, you are not on a ride, you are on a team), but know it will be the most memorable fun you can imagine. OH, and the VIEWS!!! Just do it!

My fiance and I booked this for our birthdays and it was an absolute blast!! Our guide Adam was extremely, friendly and knowledgeable. We definitely felt like we were good hands with Adam! I would highly recommend doing the more difficult trip! It is definitely worth the extra money. I would recommend this place!!

Great fun! Couldn’t have had a more fun group of guides. All day laughs at the horrible Dad jokes. Very knowledgeable. Very experienced. You can tell this group loves their job! Def will do this trip again 🙂

I would recommend A1 water rafting to anyone looking to water raft on the poudre river. we took the wild and scenic trip #2 and had the best time ever. the staff are all amazing and really brought good energy. our guide Rob was fantastic and very experienced on the water. we were also able to stop and swim as well as jump off a raft into the water. if i could give more than 5 stars i would. next time were in Colorado we will be back! thank you! (also to anyone going this was in august and i still recommend a wetsuit top , the water is always cold).

We had a great time on the wild and scenic tour (intermediate level). The guides were fantastic at making sure everyone was safe while having a fun time. Our guide, Mustard, told entertaining stories and hilarious jokes. Highly recommend!

Well had an extremely fun time whitewater rafting with Kevin as our guide. He was very helpful and kept us safe. The lines we made through the rapids were fun and got us nice and wet on a very hot summer day. If we go rafting in the future we would love for Kevin to be our guide again
