I was excited to find a tailored event. I had been searching for a while and everything was out of my price range, not to mention they didn’t offer customization. Before contacting Debra I looked through her site and loved all the different options she had and to my surprise it was all for a reasonable price. I contacted her and told her about my vision. She was happy to design everything I wanted even things that were not on her website. Not only does Debra handle arches, she’s also a florist so I ordered all my flowers from her. On the day of my wedding, everything came out beautiful. I am so happy I found Debra and her team! They really made my vision come to life and for a reasonable price. Thank you so much for making my day amazing.

Ms. Debra was absolutely wonderful and made sure I was taking care of. She got a picture of how I wanted and told me what she can do all over the phone. The day of I came to view everything on my wedding, it was absolutely a dream that became reality! She was absolutely amazing! We had a small issue with the caterer but she got involved without a question. Despite that situation, everything was a dream come true just how I imagined!!!!

I worked with Debbie for 9 months with my wedding flowers. She did give me a great price and pretended to care about my wedding vision. I explained how important my flowers were and exactly what I wanted. In the end she did not deliver. The arrangements looked nothing like the pictures I had given her. My bouquet was supposed to have lots of greenery and it did not. There were arrangements missing and things in the contract she did not do as she had agreed. Debbie will pretend to be your friend but will stab you in the back. She even was upset that I wanted to donate my flowers because I believe she reuses peoples flowers. Don’t let her smile deceive you. If you want honest service, and a person who will do as promised I would encourage you to go somewhere else. Very unprofessional person.

First, I do want to say that my wedding was beautiful. I had a tropical themed wedding, and the flowers were perfect. However, working with Debbie was a nightmare. First, trying to get a hold of her took multiple emails and phone calls. She never respected agreed upon meeting times--when phone meeting times were set, she would call at whatever time she pleased with an excuse. For anyone who has a busy lifestyle, works, etc. this is unacceptable. She completely missed one meeting all together, telling me she forgot to charge her phone. As an owner of a business, who conducts most business via phone, how do you forget to charge your phone? Extremely unprofessional. Second, when time came for payment, I promptly sent the check via mail, as she requested. (Tip for Debbie: most vendors these days use a payment link, cash service app, etc. This would be much more reliable and quicker; highly suggest you move to this platform as well). My wedding was a destination wedding in FL, and I currently live on the east coast. I arrived in FL a week early, Debbie contacted me stating she did not receive a check. I replied that it was in the mail and to please let me know if she did not receive it in and day or two, as I was already in FL and could meet anytime before the wedding day to give her payment; no response from her. On my wedding day, she arrived at the venue and harassed my mother in law about payment, to which my mother in law replied that I have a check waiting for her if she just wanted to come up to the room where we were getting ready; Debbie never showed. Long story short, she arrived at the venue before the scheduled end time and caused a scene with my mother in law about payment. My mother in law had to tell her she is not allowed to interrupt my last dance as I had tried to pay her numerous times prior to the wedding. After my wedding had ended, Debbie tried offering numerous excuses about why she did not pick up payment, etc. In addition, she did not clean the venue as I had hired her to and my mother in law had to call her and demand she come back the next day to finish the job she was paid for. These were only a few instances that made working with Debbie and A Tailored Event a nightmare. PLEASE, if you are a bride planning your wedding, TRUST the negative posts and save yourself a headache by choosing to work with someone who is professional.

From start to finish this company does it all. Their prices are great and they offer so many different services and products, taking stress off the bride because its a one stop shop. I had them do my flowers, centerpieces, wedding coordinating, and wedding decor. They covered everything from top to bottom, they were extremely accommodating, professional, and put on one fantastic wedding. The decor, flowers and centerpieces came out better than I could have even imagined. Jacqueline and Debbie were amazing and I'm sending any bride I know their way!!

My husband and I got married on 3/2/19 at Largo Central Park. Debbie and her team at A Tailored Event went above and beyond to make our wedding an absolute dream. They made sure every detail was perfect and her communication with my husband and I was impeccable! She took all of our ideas and made them into our dream wedding. Our ceremony site was outdoors and she created the most beautiful arch exactly how we imagined it and turned our indoor reception venue into a beautiful work of art. Our bouquets, centerpieces, corsages, and boutonnieres were much more incredible than we could have ever imagined! Debbie was very easy to work with and was nothing but kind and helpful from the beginning to the end. She made many of the normal stressors of wedding planning much more enjoyable for us. If I could rate less than one star I would. BEWARE!! This lady is completely unprofessional. She was supposed to setup an arch at 2:00pm and decided to show up at 11:00am without notifying anyone. She proceeded to put the arch up in the wrong location and cussed out the bride when asked to move it. She never let anyone know she was coming early and the wedding coordinator at the Hyatt told her the previous day where to set up. Debbie was rude, unprofessional, curt, disrespectful and embarrassing. She tried to charge an additional $500 to put the arch in the correct place which was HER error. Now she hadn’t even finished digging all the holes for the arch yet she kept yelling and screaming in front of everyone But this is where it always is. Brides don’t waste your time with this lady she is crazy. Debbie shame on you for cursing out your clients on what’s supposed to be the best day of their lives. Learn some professionalism and tact as a business woman. I would NEVER EVER in LIFE RECOMMEND you not even to my worst enemy. You are a horrible person and should not be in business because cursing out customers is not cool!

I first met Debbie at the Civitan Beach House. She happily walked my fiancé and I around the facility giving us a tour. We ended up hiring her to do all of our decorating, flowers, beach arch, etc. and I’m so glad we did!

Debbie is the real deal and her work is top knotch! The day of our wedding everything was set up beautifully. The flowers filled the beach house with incredible scents and the colors were remarkable!
The flowers she made were gorgeous and everyone loved them.

When the facility realized they ran out of toilet paper and paper towels for a party, Debbie went to the store in procured everything we needed. My guest had no idea anything was missing.

I highly recommend Debbie and A Tailored Event. You will not be disappointed! 😃
