Stephanie and I highly recommend A Main Event DJ! We had our wedding this past August, and DJ Joey was our MC—he was absolutely phenomenal. Not only did he curate the perfect mix that suited our tastes, but he also kept the energy up all night and seamlessly fit in requests wherever it made sense. From the moment we met Joey, he made both of us feel like the most important people in the room. He listened carefully to every detail and got genuinely excited about our vision for the wedding.

Joey even created a special mix for one of our father-daughter dances, which was incredibly meaningful to us and absolutely thrilling! He even provided blow-up guitars! So many of our guests told us our wedding was the "perfect night" (and we couldn’t agree more). Much of this is thanks to Joey for keeping everything running smoothly and knowing exactly how to keep the energy up throughout the evening.

Matt was INCREDIBLE and can’t recommend him enough. His professionalism and process of working with us leading up to the day to figure out exactly what kind of music we wanted at what point in the night, his ability to create a vibe on the dance floor, the energy he brought, the support for everything ceremony related, and more was unmatched. Hiring DJ Tom Darling from Main Event was one of the best decisions we made when wedding planning. From our first conversation, he was warm, genuine, and engaging, providing guidance on key decisions where we needed it. We knew we were in good hands, but on the day of the wedding, he blew us away. He knew our timeline like the back of his hand, and communicated with us just the right amount - enough that we never felt lost or confused, not too much that we felt overwhelmed.
Several of our guests complimented the pacing of our wedding, and of course the music. He understood the assignment from the start. For a Sunday wedding, our dance floor was awesome. We gave him minimal direction - a few key songs and no-plays - and I highly recommend you do the same: hire DJ Tom and let him do what he does best!

We recently got married and Lloyd Mnaphi was the DJ we were paired with through Granite Rose’s process. Lloyd brought such great energy to our night and truly made it the best party we could have asked for. He found a way to take our vision for the music (folk ceremony, mix and match cocktail hour and Emo Night reception) and made it feel cohesive. His vibe fit ours perfectly, and he instantly put us at ease over this part of the wedding planning process. Tyler (DJ soup) DJ’d our wedding on 3/30/2025. I can not say enough good things about him. He was great from start to finish. He was organized in the planning process and even helped us with ideas when we were coming up short. He kept the dance floor lively, and we had the best time. We were partnered with Main event through our venue the Granite Rose. We ended up getting paired with Tyler and he was AMAZING!! As stated in his bio, he’s newer to the wedding scene but you cannot tell. He kept the party going and really read the room through the whole evening!
