We took the Surrey out for an hour. It was hard work - and definitely wouldn’t recommend for shorter people! We had a laugh but unless you’ve got 2 strong-legged adults, we’d recommend getting individual bikes. Also couldn’t get far in an hour so would recommend a longer rental. The bike routes are reasonably easy to navigate and they give clear instructions on where to go.

They advertise multi-day rates on their website ~specifically~ for their fat tire e-bikes (yes, right on the details page) and then will tell you in person that they don’t rent them for multiple days because you can’t charge them? Seems simple - give me the bike and a charger and we are good. Instead the employee could not have cared less and was not any help at all. Walked over to holland bikes who has the system figured out and did exactly what I described above.

We rented a two-person tandem bike and towards the end of the last leg, we accidentally fell off. We returned our bikes and the cashier was prepared with a first aid kit. He was so kind and he even offered me a chair to sit on. I would totally recommend! Also there is a free hour with a coupon discount online you can use! You’re welcome!!

Overpriced for dirty bikes that fail to work properly. Old helmets aren’t sanitized and are left in plastic tubs. You’re responsible for your bikes, but locks are not provided and you cannot even rent one (unless renting an e-bike); that was an odd one. Is the seat in your tandem too high or low? Don’t expect to be offered any help or even ability to move its height—they don’t have quick releases and the one attendant on staff had no tools nor time to assist as he was too busy overcharging the next customers in line.

Overall, a terrible value that earned one star before a refund was quickly given after complaining specifically that one of the rented bikes wasn’t roadworthy. For your sanity, try another shop on the island.

We took out the two row bike. It was pretty intense peddling and a tad confusing trying to figure out how to manage traffic and not going on Orange road (banned). We went along the beach and it was super crowded and a tad tricky to manage. It was one adult and three kids so four adults I’m sure would find it easier but it was pretty challenging for me, but my daughter thought it was amazing.

This seems to be the closest bike rental from Del Coronado. They have options for hybrid, cruiser, tag-a-long for little kiddos, kid bikes, tandem, etc. They also provide helmets if needed (I think it’s required for kids). Bike route maps are provided at request. They said a full loop of Coronado (non stop) would be roughly an hour.
Prices were quite reasonable and the guys renting bikes out were super nice and helpful.

Not a great experience. The bikes are way too overpriced for the maintenance they recieve. They're the cheapest possible E Bikes, the brakes are also really not that great. Don't recommend

Convenient placed near the trolley. However when we arrived he was not taking cards. We went and got cash only to learn the card devices worked it just was not plugged in. Directions about where to travel was not clear either. We spent some time trying to find where we were supposed to be. Looking forward to the motorized sherry.
