We hired Thomas Bui for my mom's 60th birthday celebration. We have always admired Thomas' work as native San Diegans. It has always been a dream of my mom's to hire Thomas, so we were very excited to work with him and Thomas and his team exceeded all of our expectations.

We told him a brief idea of what we were thinking for the party and he took it to a new level. His knowledge of the industry and vast experience is unmatched. He has incredible relationships with the best, most reliable vendors, so the entire process from planning to the actual party was efficient and seamless. Thomas coordinated the invites, a dance floor on the pool, gourmet appetizers and dinner, a band, rentals, hair and makeup and much more. The day of the party was relaxing and stress-free thanks to his meticulous planning.

Thomas and his team are friendly, outgoing and easy to be around. We always looked forward to our meetings with them prior to the event. Thomas has endless ideas, but knows how to narrow down the priorities to fit within budget. We will absolutely be hiring Thomas again. If you want to throw a first class party, Thomas is for you.

Thomas is a great event planner for our wedding, which is totally beyond our imaginations. The best thing is he cares about our needs - we love our pets and we wanted to see them at our wedding. Due to some reason they cannot attend (they are afraid of crowds!). Thomas made small sculptures of our pets and placed them on our wedding cake. This was super sweet and surprising!

Thomas and his team are very responsible and easy to work with. We are not fashionable, and Thomas helped us a lot with shopping! He shopped with us for everything (bride's gown, groom's suit, etc), and he always knew what fit us best. Everything turned out perfectly.

He is also very responsive and proactive. Some of our guests have special needs (e.g. infant care) and he helped us communicate with the venue so we didn't have to worry.

Will definitely come back if we have any new celebrations.

Having worked in the wedding planning industry in the past, I really did not think I would need a planner when it came time for my own wedding. Plus, with my mother's help, we had all of our vendors booked within the first two months of being engaged, with over a year to spare until the actual wedding! However, since we were planning the wedding from 3,000 miles away, we figured it would be beneficial to have someone "on the ground" in San Diego. That is when my mother and I found Thomas Bui. Despite my 1 1/2 year engagement, Thomas made it feel like my wedding was his #1 priority--even over others whose weddings were sooner than mine. He promptly responded to emails (any time of day or night) and would return missed phone calls within a matter of minutes.

Most importantly, Thomas was able to create my exact wedding vision, clarifying ideas to vendors when my words got lost in translation via numerous email communications. The downside of hiring vendors so early on in the process was that we had a few issues with some of our vendors. However, without missing a beat, Thomas was there to put out the fire and make things perfect. It is very valuable to hire someone who has such strong connections with high-end vendors in the area! He is an incredible listener, and helps keep you on track if the process of making decisions overwhelms you. His attention to detail is unmatched by anyone else in the business, and he truly perfects every single aspect...even down to the welcome bag gift tags!

This level of detail also comes in handy for the "day-of" timeline. Thomas and his brilliant team made sure everyone was on schedule, but did it in such a way that it still felt very relaxed and not rushed. As with any wedding, there was a small glitch beyond anyone's control, but he and his team handled the situation with such grace and discretion, not a single wedding guest knew about it.

Beyond his taste level and professionalism, Thomas and I now share a wonderful friendship that continues to extend far beyond my wedding day. If you are looking to hire a wedding planner with exquisite taste, an eye for detail and design, a person who exudes warmth in his personality making him incredibly easy to work with, then Thomas Bui is the person for you. He truly made my wedding into a fairytale, and created a perfect day that I will never forget.

I don't even know where to start, Thomas is the most amazing wedding planner/person I've ever encountered! Without him I honestly don't think I'd have a wedding, let alone one as beautiful as what we had. Not only does he have the most wonderful taste/vision, he is also a truly wonderful companion throughout the whole process. I leaned on him and he never once faltered. I owe him so much for making my life so much easier and for providing my husband and I such an amazing experience on the most important day of our lives.
