Originally called for a quote for ALL lumber to be exposed quality. Purchased two beams 6”X6”X28’ and twenty
2”X6”X12’ to build a patio cover to be seen by customer and their company. All 2x6x12’s were not even in good enough condition for framing a house. So I had to get them taken off of my trailer and wait three weeks for a refund. First beam loaded on the trailer with a large split thanks to the loader pushing from the end of a $370 beam. Took 2 weeks to get a replacement which was dropped, literally dropped on the asphalt road and then the driver and passenger quickly left before I could speak with them. I then had to call corporate office just to get spoken to as if they were doing me a favor and that the damaged beams were my fault. When being told at 11:18am that they were on their way and having to call three hours later to then be told it will be another 35-40 more minutes and then showing up 50 minutes later with paperwork needing a signature to acknowledge that neither the factory nor 84 Lumber will replace anymore beams. Sorry 84 Lumber, all I have wanted from the beginning was the $370 per beam special order to be treated with some kind of care as to not be loaded or dropped off damaged. I don’t think this is a hard thing to ask for and be fulfilled. Way to much of a headache to deal with this company. I will never do business with this company.

I purchased 20 2x8’s & 3-4x8’s and immediately when the guy was stacking them together to load them on my truck I noticed that some were damaged and warped . So I went back inside and ask the sales guy about a refund since I hadn’t even loaded them or even left the property! And his response was “ sorry no refunds “ so then I asked to swap them for better looking ones and he said ok but to come back the next day since they were already closing. I came back and swapped them. Not even a week later I had to rebuy 1/2 of the 2x8’s at home depo and now I need to also replace my 4x8’s due to them warping and cracked . I will never buy here again and will not recommend anyone I know to buy here either .

I delivered a dry van load here Thursday 2/29. Typical lumber yard maneuvering. I was unloaded by Andrew. He was fast and polite. Thanks Andrew & 84 Lumber for a good experience. I look forward to coming back.

Truckers stay away, long offload time. They schedule 4-5 trucks to come at once so they tell you to park outside and you have to take care of your spot in line. They dont take your number or anything down in order to offload you.

I found some staff were more helpful than others. I called for a month asking to order a product to which they never called me back for. One staff was kind and would take my number to call me back (which he never did) but the other staff member would speak very condescendingly. I asked to speak to his manager and this staff member said “no” because he "knew what he was doing." I chose to give my business elsewhere.

This place is one of the least professional lumber supply businesses. There is lack of communication between the front order desk and the back warehouse. I paid for my order at 9:44 am and am still eating to be loaded at 10:47. If it was busy then I could understand. But it’s empty and there are only two other people that were with me. Then they got loaded up while I have been forgotten. I spoke to two workers asking about my order and there answer was. It should be coming someone should have it. That felt like a pass the buck answer so you don’t have to provide customer service. As a contractor I will never come back again.

Wow, great customer service and I was "that customer". I got there right at five o'clock (stupid red lights). Showed them a picture of the plywood I needed and they had it. They loaded it as I was paying for it. Will definitely be back when I need more lumber. Thanks
