As a photographer, the Westport offers so many opportunities for photos. The venue has been thoughtfully designed, the look and feel is perfect for weddings, events, and Styled shoots! I know because I put one together there. They have lots of different lighting options oh and location, location, location!!! If you're a bride-to-be considering your wedding here or someone wanting to host an event, don't hesitate! I've shot here multiple times and it's been a pleasure every time.

We had our wedding at The Westport on June 8, 2024 and it could not have been more perfect! Sage and the rest of the The Westport team were so flexible in accommodating our ever changing schedule/ headcount, which we greatly appreciated. You also get a wedding planner included when you book with The Westport, and that was such a huge help! Jen from NSE was our planner and she was a dream to work with. I would highly recommend The Westport for any party needs!

We hosted a retirement party at The Westport in Chico. It is the perfect space for large parties or even intimate events. They have tables and chairs available for use and a bar to rent. The bathrooms are a masterpiece and the perfect spot for a selfie! There is a prep space that our caterers were able to use and a back entrance for them to load in and out. We did not utilize the bridal suite, but we given a tour and its wonderful! Lots of natural light and a great set up for hair and makeup. The gals were so helpful for planning, prep, and day of as well. We highly recommend The Westport as an event venue in Chico, California.

As an event/wedding planner I know how important it is to work with professional and courteous vendors. The team at The Westport (Sara, Sage, Robin & Nicole) is nothing short of amazing! The first wedding we coordinated at The Westport in 2023 came together in less than a week and even though The Westport wasn't going to officially open their doors until 2024, they made magic happen and opened early. The wedding was an absolute hit and the support we (North State Events) and other vendors received from The Westport team was phenomenal.
And if you haven't been to this venue yet you are in for a pleasant surprise. The inside is a dream with an open floor concept for the reception area with exposed wooden beams, beautiful chandeliers, natural lighting during the day and soft lighting at night. Any pictures taken here are absolutely stunning! Through the barn doors is a whole other side that can be used for the ceremony space and extra seating/hangout areas for the reception.
There's also a separate bridal suite upstairs so we can keep the bride hidden until just the right moment and an area for the groom and groomsmen to get ready.
And last but certainly not least this venue is temperature controlled so they can hold weddings and other events in any kind of weather (hot or cold) and they are located in Downtown Chico so anyone who wants to keep the party going doesn't have to travel far to nearby bars/restaurants.
The Westport is the venue that Downtown Chico has always needed and anyone lucky enough to work with The Westport team will not be disappointed.

As the owner of Nest Bedding, I couldn't be more excited about the opening of Westport in Chico. This venue fills a significant gap in the area, providing a beautifully curated event space for various occasions, from celebrations and weddings to corporate events. I recently rented Westport for three days to take product shots for my company, and the owners were incredibly accommodating and easy to collaborate with.

The pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the versatility of the space. Each room is thoughtfully designed, allowing for a seamless experience with minimal additional decoration needed. We were so impressed that we decided to book our company party there as well, and we can't wait to return for another great experience!

We recently had the pleasure of hosting both a retirement party and a work meeting at The Westport, and we couldn’t be more impressed! The space is not only stunning, but it’s also the perfect venue for any type of event you can imagine. You can really feel the care and attention that went into creating such a welcoming environment ( we absolutely love the canoe in The Library!) and we’re excited for many more future events at The Westport! Ever since I came across The WestPort instagram page, I knew I had to go and check it out!

It's a beautiful addition to the wedding venues in the Butte County area! If you're looking for a blank , minimalist venue with hints of barn doors and chandelier fixtures, this is the place to go to!

It's an excellent space to hold an event, especially a wedding.

I had the opportunity to use it for a photoshoot and I'm so glad Sage was accommodating with my schedule. Will probably use it again in the near future!

Don't hesitate on looking further into The Westport. You won't regret it.
