We were so impressed with this museum and it's docents! So many rooms. Such a variety: nature, entertainment-history, geology, native American culture, antique firearms and more! A great place to come and learn! Best for mid-elementary age to seniors. We greatly enjoyed this, for hours!

Great little museum with some fresh air and lots of informative people. The woman at the desk is great at giving you the story on the town which was an old mining town. They have old items like fire arms old telephones.

Me and my kids took a little day trip to Kernville, and this museum was on our list. We didn't expect much from it, figured we'd walk around and leave. However, the worker, I forgot her name, was wonderful she walked us around the whole museum, basically giving us a guided interactive tour! She really made the whole thing way better than we were expecting. We spent almost an hour inside, and my 11 year old had a blast (he didn't even want to go in). Thank you for a great experience! Highly suggest stopping at this Gem!

Dianna and her husband were very sweet we arrived a little late traveled from far and went straight here and they were very accommodating and so knowledgeable about the history of the town. You can tell they really care about the history and the natives of the area. It's a great free museum I 100% recommended checking out.
