Very impressive! 5 stars much deserved, everything is is 5 stars..the restrooms, the picnic areas, the maintenance, the space, the lawn care...lots of awesome detail..it's about the size of a small truck stop. The vending prices are great. It is very modern!

Great secure clean rest area. There were 2 security staff members present at 3:30 am. Lots of parking. Very clean and spacious bathrooms. Vending machines. A place where you can stop overnight and feel safe.

VERY clean. The staff are very kind and friendly.

They have many pamphlets of the attractions around the state. They also have an electronic sign in book as well as a screen that will help you find different attractions.

This place was absolutely gorgeous! The staff was friendly and helpful. It had really clean bathrooms, fully stocked, and vending machines that were also fully stocked and in working condition. I wish ALL rest stops were like this! ❤️

Definitely one of the best welcome centers that I’ve ever stopped at. Very clean and well-maintained, the employees have a sense of ownership, they’re very helpful, and they seem to want to ensure that you enjoy your visit to the state. The area is beautiful and located in a position Approximately halfway between Atlanta and Montgomery so it’s a good rest up area. I would definitely recommend stopping here.

I’m a female truck driver and love to take a little break if heading down 85 South into Montgomery Al. I always have to stop at this rest area it is one the the cleanest rest areas around.The ladies there are super friendly and make sure to greet you with a big smile every time.If traveling down 85 south heading to Alabama and you are in need of a bathroom break or just stretching your legs I highly recommend this rest area and ask for Melinda aka and the Queen of Alabama and Gabby ? not to mention it a beautiful area and really clean inside and outside.When you leave the bathroom don’t forget to thank Tracy J.for always thinking clean and Trish,Greg and Mr.James for the welcome #SweetHomeAlabama?

Nice quiet rest area with clean restrooms. It even has somewhat of a natural area for you to walk your dog ? from a long trip. A dump station for the RV crowd. There is a parking area for Semis RVs,Horse Trailers etc. plenty of places to sit outdoors for some fresh air. Vending machines. Even has smoking ? area with disposal. Be a good place just to take some time off the road stretch your legs and walk a minute. Even has lighted picnic areas for the early morning risers or night owls.

OUR FAVORITE REST AREA! Great for RVs! This place has had a makeover. There are five (what appear to be) RV parking spaces on the trucking side around the bend just past the trucking spaces. Nice and quiet. The spaces appear to allow for popouts. If it weren’t so hot and humid we’d have put our awning and a couple chairs out to enjoy the beauty. The dump area has been redone with a high pressure water pump for tank filling, and as always, lush, beautiful grounds! The pet signs are much friendlier and based on the reviews and pics from others, the car side and Visitors Center do not disappoint. Overall this place is #1 in our book!
