When I need to rest my mind I come down here for solitude. To hear the wind, the waves and for the picturesque view. It's rejuvenating.

One of my favorite places to visit. It is so quiet and relaxing. I do a lot of my thinking here. Plenty of benches and picnic tables. There is also a huge grassy area for a picnic. If you do want to sit at a table I suggest bringing your own table cloth. The tables can be somewhat dirty. No shade over tables. As for tree shade there isn't much of that at all so make sure to bring plenty of water, hat and sunscreen. There are homes around the park so you will need to be mindful of that. FYI there is a portable bathroom there too.

Yesterday someone was shot at in the parking lot of this park in Benicia. I come here every week to enjoy the scenery. So much for safe little towns. There all gone here in California. I’m moving seeing this incident did me in. I’m done. My dads a cop I know about bad things but these are senseless crimes. Makes me very very sad.
