I was part of a charter on Unterthored this weekend and loved it. Captain Drew was amazing. Highly skilled on the Bay while being relaxed and approachable. Lea, the first mate was also awesome. They both went above and beyond. The boat is beautiful. Great layout and elegantly appointed. I look forward to sailing with them again. Thank you for a great day on the Bay.

From the moment we came across Untethered Sailing's website, we knew we had found something special. The booking process was seamless and the boat was truly as beautiful in person as it looks in pictures.

We had a magical time sailing around San Francisco and learning about the unique history from the captain and crew. Everyone couldn't have been nicer and treated us like royalty. The boat is roomy, clean, extremely comfortable, and has all the bells and whistles to make your day at sea one of a kind. What a fantastic day sailing around San Francisco and stopping at Angel Island on a catamaran! The crew was not only friendly but also knowledgeable about the area. The views of the city and the Golden Gate Bridge were breathtaking, and the stop at Angel Island added a great touch of exploration. The catamaran was comfortable, and the provided lunch was delicious. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to experience the beauty of San Francisco from the water!

Our family trip from New Jersey was made even more special when we decided to spend a summer day sailing on the beautiful San Francisco Bay! The services offered by this company exceeded our expectations. Our Captain, Drew, was not just well-informed, but he also made our day unforgettable by letting us try our hands at sailing. We booked the whole day sailing to Ayala Cove, visiting the beach, using the stand up paddle board, and having a BBQ. We had a fantastic time The boat was huge and brand new, providing plenty of room for our big family of 12. I wholeheartedly endorse this experience and recommend it to everyone!

Had an unforgettable experience with Untethered Sail! Cruising the San Francisco Bay on their catamaran offered breathtaking views that you simply can't capture from land. A highlight was anchoring near Sam's Café and indulging in a delightful lunch; the food tasted even better with the backdrop of the bay. I must also commend our skipper, who was not only well-qualified but made sure our journey was smooth and safe. Highly recommend Untethered Sail for anyone looking to experience the Bay Area from a unique vantage point.

If you leave items to be sold get a receipt of the item and who you left it with, date, time, value. Things sprout legs and can go walking off apparently.

I rented with Marcus/Untethered Sailing for my partner's 40th birthday celebration. It was an excellent experience. Marcus was communicative, warm, and very thoughtful throughout the planning and booking process. The boat itself is exactly as photographed — it's modern, clean, and absolutely beautiful. I am looking forward to booking with him again in the near future.
