Michelle and Skyler were very helpful. The prices were good compared to other agencies. We were hoping to go to Israel in March 2024, had everything planned, but, sadly, decided to cancel because of the war. They said the tour was still on for March but we were not comfortable waiting.

We took the Into the Promised Land Tour in Feb 2023. We enjoyed the hotels and the guides in Egypt and Jordan, BUT ISRAEL…
The guide Jesse was phenomenal. He was knowledgeable and organized. He gave us correct information and kept us on track. The Magdala hotel on the Sea of Galilee was beautiful.
I would highly recommend this tour.

I had made a reservation with American Israel Tours for a trip to Israel on December 22, 2023, and paid a deposit. Unfortunately, amidst the booking, the war broke out. According to the Government Travel Advisory site:

"U.S. citizens should take caution with the Travel Advisory for Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza. The U.S. Embassy is actively monitoring the dynamic security situation in Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza. There are ongoing military operations and active rocket and mortar fire in Gaza and the Gaza periphery."

Concerned about the safety risks, I requested a refund for the trip. Surprisingly, they declined to refund the money. It's crucial to exercise caution when booking with them, as you might risk losing the entire deposit. It's disheartening that they prioritize their profits over the safety of American citizens.

My wife and I just returned from a 16-day "Into the Promised Land Tour". The tour went much better than we expected. The tour was extremely organized. We had 39 people in our group. All guides that we had in Egypt, Jordan, and Israel were top-notch, extremely knowledgeable, very professional, and pleasant. We stayed very nice hotels, especially in Jordan. Food was great. I do recommend following AIT's recommendations about bottled water in Egypt and Jordan, if you do not wish to be on Imodium. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this company without any reservation

You decide: The AIT company misled us on hotels (two switched, and also one that had cats on the dining table and blood on our shower walls and curtain) costs (tips and daily costs were higher than stated) safety (one passenger, with tour guide, was a theft victim, several-me included- had suspicious credit card charge instances, and we had a hotel employee enter our room late at night-while we were in bed). The tour guides ranged from good to poor, with an arrogant Israeli guide being rude (his response to a passenger's question was, "Were you not listening?) and a boring full hour lecture on the bus regarding Israel politics. The same guide did not show up the first day we were in Israel as we spent nearly three hours on the bus looking at scenery unknown. Planning on seeing the Church of the Holy Sepulchre? How about a walk through-and no time available to see Jesus'Tomb? Hotels (only one was 4 star) were not very good period. Broken furniture, safes not working, located in the middle of no where.Timing of tour was terrible-passengers climbed Mt. Sinai and then put on the bus, and brought through two border customs-without rest. Several days ran late on the bus, so the hotel pools and facilities we paid for were closed. The food buffets served the same chicken, rice, pasta, and desserts-ranging from good to poor. One hotel had instant coffee with boiled eggs as the main breakfast course! We ended up eating at restaurants the last three days. The guides brought us to shops where the owner would sales pitch us and then follow us around to buy.They also set up lunch in restaurants that I would never have eaten at-and did not. We spent a lot of money to experience this trip, and I would never recommend this company.

AIT comany has been very organized and punctual. Everything is explained in advance very clearly and being carried out exactly on time. The hotels AIT booked for us were very good ones, especially U Boutique! U Boutique is better than any 5 star hotels in the U.S. Dinner and breakfast are buffet style and the choices are amazing. The hotel is on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, very quiet and clean. Our tour guide was Jesse and he was an experienced, professional, and very knowledgeable.
With his explanations, i was able to connect the stories in the bible with the places. Everything was done on time and smoothly.
I highly recommend AIT and Jesse. They made us to feel that we were cared for and wanting to return.

I would give this tour a 10 if I could!! I had an airport snafu which caused me to come in late. AIT quickly responded to my email giving alternate instructions and had a snack plate left in my room for the late arrival. The guide was EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, knowledgeable, and friendly. The bus driver was quite a professional and friendly, too!! I felt safe the entire time I was there. We saw ALL the things, learned SO MUCH!! I want to do it again!!
My eyes were opened and my faith is deeper. ?
