Absolutely beautiful fall hike to take. I took the advice from a review on Alltrails and took the Pedestal Rocks trail counterclockwise, and then the Kings Bluff trail clockwise. As far as intensity goes, I considered the trails to be easy, but I am also a fairly avid hiker. I suppose they can be considered moderate due to the small stretches of inclines they have, as well as the narrowness of the path in places; some of those narrow stretches being higher up/on an edge with no railing.
I did see people down near the base of the pedestal rocks, but I myself did not go down to explore. Mostly due to time and not knowing how they got down there in the first place.
If you only have time for one trail, I would say to take the Kings Bluff trail clockwise, because that will give you the best views. (I like to save the best for last, so taking it that direction will cause you to savour the views once you get to them.)
Absolutely gorgeous and beautiful and magical at this time of year. Definitely take the time to go if you can.

Gorgeous hike. Amazing views. Decently kept up.
I will say, if you're afraid of heights, it may not be the best hike, as the trail flirts with the edge of the cliff quite a bit. But there is plenty of opportunity to hike down below the cliffs as well.

While on a motorcycle trip through the area we decided to stop and take a little hike.
We weren't really prepared for the distance and so we went to the route to the right and loop to back around.
Wish would have done the other route but we will have to save it for next time.

All of us are in good shape but of course being in motorcycle boots and full gear we got awfully sweaty on the way back up.
I would rate the trail about an 8 out of 10 but it definitely would not be something I would advise my elderly parents to go do.
Also anyone with children, yes there are signs but I'd highly advise making sure they're disciplined to listen because we saw undisciplined kids almost die several times and finally their parents had to put them on a leash.
This entire area is absolutely beautiful and well preserved.
I have it on my notes to go back and take the longer trailhead to the left next time.

This was a great hike! Loved seeing all the formations. We were also able to see some waterfalls. There are fences up for safety in certain places and lots of great spots for photos. You can stick to the trail or go down below to get closer to the formations.

This area is actually two separate trails. Each trail is a loop, kinda like a weird figure eight with parking in the middle of either loop. I would say Pedestal Rocks is definitely more scenic of the two. It has many caves and crevices to explore and great scenic views. Not to skip out on the Kings river trail, it has some scenic spots also. Total miles for both trails are around four miles. This area has some hills, but I would not consider any of it strenuous. If you have small kids or pets, be extremely cautious! There are dangers close to the trail. Any slip or fall could be deadly! Cell phone signal with Verizon is spotty.

We hiked both trails in one day (one very cold day...). It totaled close to 5 miles and gave us quite the workout! But it is totally worth it. The pedestal rock trail has so many cool features and overlooks. Be sure to take the trails that lead to the bottom of the rocks and explore the bluff shelters. The Kings Bluff Trail was a little boring getting out to the bluffs, but once you get there you won't regret it. The waterfall wasn't flowing well at the end but was still a pretty place to see. The trails are very well marked and easy to follow.

There is a toilet with toilet paper at the trailhead. No where to wash hands. There’s enough space to park 6 cars but you can park on side of road. Trails with good signage. There’s no gas station super close, so make sure you fill your tank before going. Unlike me and then i have to stress and go find gas. Also reception is not good, so consider downloading some maps. Great hike otherwise. They also had a few picnic tables at trailhead.
