We got married @ valley of the eagles on May 25th 2024 and it was outstanding. The price point was perfect, the venue was beautiful & the food & drinks were good. But better yet- the staff was awesome. Specifically the bar tenders & Candace Guerra, the wedding day of coordinator. Candace did everything & MORE. She made the day run so smoothly and made sure it was exactly what I envisioned. My day was so stress free. It wouldn’t have been the perfect day that it was without her!

Cool course. Nice layout and views. Barry gives great lessons and he’s extremely laid back, polite, knowledgeable and on point with his golf instruction. He helped my wife make a natural par after her first lesson. Check these guys out.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience getting married here. The venue was beautiful and has so many included add ons such as draped florals and greenery walls. The staff is WONDERFUL.
Everyone is so kind and made the night go seamlessly. Now for Candace-I would have not made it through the day without her!! She is literally heaven sent and made the day go perfectly. She goes above and beyond day of coordinator duties and was the best part of this planning experience with our venue. Candace I hope you know that you made the day better than I could have dreamed and I am forever grateful for your help! | LOVED this venue!

For starters, I would play this course again. It is challenging, fun and shows different looks to the players. Our league had an outing here and we all enjoyed the course. We really liked Bob the starter who was very welcoming and helpful.

Here's the bad. There are no bathrooms on the course. I saw very few trash cans. A reoccurring theme I seen with other reviewers is that the beer cart girl was indeed horrible. We saw her once the whole time we were there, but we saw her twice facetiming with someone on the phone off to the side. Second issue that is reoccurring as well is the bartenders were just as bad. My fellow golfer waited for damn near ten minutes for a single beer and when he tipped her no money, she exclaimed 'No Tip?!?' Last issue was there was absolutely no food to be had at the turn, which is a bit unfortunate.

We finished our round, had a great dinner from the tavern, but it was shocking to see that none of the regular golfers stuck around for food and drink which tells me something. I really feel the management can do better for its patrons and hope it does in the future.

Wonderful golf course. You have to "play" the course which I love to do. It firces you to hit shots. Im planning on coming back.

My daughter got married Nov. 9, 2024 at the Valley of the Eagles! Everything was perfect. From the food ( amazing short rib) to the service. Candace, the coordinator was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She works non-stop. Loved her! I'm a Happy Mother of the bride!

Had breakfast with Santa with my 4 yr old and it was excellent! My son got pics with Santa! They had different stations set up for the kids from coloring pictures to decorating cookies! Overall great experience! Will definitely be back next year!

The course is in amazing shape and extremely beautiful. It was my first time playing here since I moved to Medina a few years ago. The points about the cart path are fair, but you can see how much this course must have improved and hopefully continues to improve. Literally, at some point this must have been a dump as you can see all the car tires thrown into the river. Personally, I’ve been looking for nicer resort-type golf experiences in NE Ohio without having to be a country club member. The course plays so nicely so I don’t mind traveling to Elyria and paying higher greens fees especially if they continue to improve, and maybe even add things like ball washers and maybe a course Marshall. Just my 2 cents, thanks great course. See you next season.

Been playing here for a few years now and this place never gets old. Great scenery, very nice staff, and always a challenge. The course offers a new test every time, and depending on which tee box you play that day, you can really change up what clubs you are going to use. Greens play fast and very firm, but the course is kept in nice shape. You may run into some pace issues, especially weekend afternoons, but show me a "public" course that doesn't these days.

I was looking forward to playing this course again, I’ve played it a handful of times. I expected the conditions to be excellent as the weather has been fairly wet allowing for good growth.

We played Sunday at 3pm. Pulling in, the parking lot is in bad condition. Needs replaced and more spaces. Check in was easy and friendly. Picked up a couple beverages in the bar. Took longer than it should have and a bit overpriced but nothing to get mad at.

The course was in good condition. Except for cart paths. The cart paths are horrible. I like the layout of this course and similar to other Nicklaus designs the fairways are wide enough to hit and the challenge comes in on approach. The greens were in good condition and pretty fast today.

The problem today was pace. Good should not take 5-1/2 hours. The people in front of us were terrible. That’s ok, they were also terribly slow. There was two foursomes and they held us and others up. Waited on every shot. No Marshall to be found. I tried calling the clubhouse several times and even the grill to try and get some help. No answer.

Fix the parking lot, cart paths and service the pace of play.

What a phenomenal surprise. Had never played here before today. Will absolutely be back. Staff was friendly , course in great shape, and the greens as well. Really a lot of fun.

Only thing? No driving range. But that’s not a detractor.

The best in the area. Scenery, shape, constant improvement every year. Just awesome even during the dog days of summer!

The negative reviews are laughable. You will not regret playing here.
