Was taken on a tour of the camp, found out about the history, events, how many groups they help each year, that they collect old US flags and have a ceremony to retire them. That was very interesting!! They have a museum on site with lots of memorabilia.
It was a great experience and our tour guide was very knowledgeable!!

The camp is such a beautiful place, so many trees, plants, and everything nature has to offer. We went for a Boy Scout family event and had a wonderful time, the trails were well kept, the bathrooms were decent, and the staff was so helpful.

Also, their summer day camp program is great. This is the 2nd year our son has attended and he absolutely loves it. They go fishing, swimming, hiking, ride on a bmx track, play games, etc. I highly recommend it for kids 2nd grade+ only because if you have an incoming 1st grader an adult needs to be with them every day, and that time commitment may not be feasible for many families.

The camp was very nice. I enjoyed the signs all around the camp explaining the history of different areas. And the oldest scout building in the US!

We stayed at the fort for camping with our scouts. It was family camp, so some families stayed in the bunks and others used hammocks or tents outside. There is water at the site and bathrooms are close by. The camp ground has a gaga pit and a human foosball pit. Lots of trails for hiking and even a trading post to shop.

Need to get rid of the gaga ball pit. Disrupts the greatness of camping! All the kids want to do is play that dumb game. Other than that it's a great close place to camp.

I'm a boy scout from troop 130 Geneva Switzerland 1977 when I came to this place I was not even allowed to bring my dog out there on a leash. This is a spit in the face
to all boy scouts dogs and disabled veterans I am very disappointed and I will never go there again unless they change their policies shame on them
