This library is great! They have free passes to a few local community sites, they have lots of neat science and crafting kits for kids and adults, they have an amazing children's section, and they have a section with posters about local community events, and there's a local art display section. This is one of my favorite libraries I've been to (and that's coming from someone who loves libraries).

Top tier, A-list library. Zero complaints. The most incredible library in this country. In THE WORLD, I daresay. I moved away, saw other libraries, and none of them even come CLOSE. Even the other libraries in this county don't come close. If a library isn't like the Wauwatosa Public Library, I don't want it. I just renewed my library card that I've had for 9.5 years. I will never relinquish this library card. I have withdrawals when I'm not at this library. Infinite stars

The library itself is relarively nice. Large Childrens section. Theres even artwork available for checkout. Main problem with this library is they put stickers over the ISBN of all their books making it impossible to scan them with Beanstack. Since the primary purpose of a library is books and the Milwaukee county libraries run reading challenges tracked through beanstalk placing their stickers over a books ISBN is very short sighted.

Been going to the WPL for 60 years and it’s still the best there is. The selection is superior, the staff is helpful and friendly (most of the time) and there’s literally nothing they can’t get if you need it. There’s no reason to buy books at BN or Amazon when you have this gem right here in Wauwatosa.
