Came in expecting nothing but walked out with a pile of non-fictions. Extraordinary! Might be that some UConn Stamford students happen to get rid of their stuff but still better than any Goodwill I've been to lol. To be fair, the store is well organized and clean. Cloths and utensils etc are shelved nicely.

The people are rude they sit around and have conversations amongst each other without paying attention to the customer it seem like you are getting on their nerves when you ask a question or they act like they don't know what you are talking about and look at you like your crazy the manager seems like she is on a power trip amongst her staff this young generation need to learn a thing called RESPECT. And learn how to clean and keep the store in better condition. It's so much more I can say but I'm not giving this no more of my time my next step is to go to the higher up cause I would like to see a change in this store

This place is a waste of time. Don't apply here. All they did was give me the runarounds despite reaching out to them numerous times and still did not get selected.

This is a nice Goodwill in Stamford! Granted, the Elm Street location is way better and newer, but this is super convenient to drop off old clothes and shoes to be sold! Plus, all proceeds go to charity, which is one of the best parts of Goodwill! This is a great place to look for bargains on everything, from housewares to clothes. I do have some cons: the parking lot is AWFUL! It is so cramped on a busy day! Also, this store used to have an electronics section, which is now gone. PLEASE BRING BACK ELECTRONICS AT THIS GOODWILL!

Very rude and unwelcoming employees. Followed me around the store and snickered about it…as if they had nothing to do with their lives at this Goodwill. One was an older aged lady with a bun and glasses & the other seemed to be a trans man /man with a very high pitched voice with braids/twists. Completely discouraged me to buy $100+ of items and I put everything back. I urge others to be aware of the profiling and bad service that takes place here and take your hard earned dollars elsewhere.

This location has really friendly sales associates which makes for a pleasant shopping experience. The parking lot is very small. Getting in and out can be really tight. The store is very small so during peak shopping hours you want to avoid it if crowding is an issue for you. There aren't any shopping carts so bring a bag to carry your haul.

A little disappointing. Not a very large selection, and many things were overpriced. The person behind the counter was dancing and flirting with their coworkers more than working the register, causing a big line to form. They had a second register but wasn't using it, so I stood in line for about 20 minutes. The most frustrating part was I had an item with a price tag of $2. When I finally got to the counter, the employee tried to charge me $20. When I brought this to their attention, they said the price was wrong. I ended up not buying the item.
I travel a lot and visit a lot of thrift stores, this was definitely one of the more disappointing ones.... especially compared to other Goodwill's.

Parking scenario is less than ideal for larger cars.
Less product then expected with a smaller men’s section.
Decent pricing on glassware / misc.
Target delivers on Friday. Two colors are on sale on Sunday.

This isn’t the first, second, or even third time I’ve had a poor experience at this Goodwill on Broad Street. This time was the last straw. The store was filled with items clearly marked with price tags. I picked one up, carried it with me the entire time I shopped, only to be told at the register that it was ā€œfor display only.ā€ Afterward, I noticed that signs had suddenly been put up on the end caps saying those items weren’t for sale—even though 90% of them still had price tags.

Here’s the issue: if something is truly just a display, don’t put a price tag on it. It’s misleading and frustrating to customers. I explained that I had chosen my item before the signs were put up, but even after speaking with the manager, they refused to sell it. The manager was dismissive and unhelpful, and when I tried contacting corporate, I couldn’t even get through to anyone.

As an avid thrifter, this is incredibly disappointing. It’s not about the item—it’s about customer service and having even the most basic retail standards. Sadly, this location consistently fails at both.

This is a small goodwill, but you can find some goodies if you search. The staff was friendly. It’s a bit disorganized and it’s a small space so sometimes it can be overwhelming.

I drop off donations here too, which is a fairly quick process.

The parking lot here is very uncomfortable, it’s small and doesn’t have a ton of room for cars to move around so be careful when you’re coming and going.

We have donated here for years. Easy process, and it feels good to clean out our closets while doing some good, as well.
