Just got back a few weeks ago from staying here in the Outlook Cabin. Let me first start out by saying the location and property grounds are very nice but that is about the only thing I can say good about anything else there. The Outlook Cabin is HORRIBLE, gross, outdated, and falling apart. I should of known upon getting settled in and walking out to the back patio that was covered in leaves and someones picnic food that was left on the table outside that cleanliness was not a priority for MML&E. When coming into the cabin the foyer/entry area has wood rot and is ready to fall in so they just threw a cheap rug over it. The inside everywhere looks like it hasn't been updated since the mid 80's. The 1/2 bath countertops are literally falling apart. The shower was one of the worst I have ever been in. The water pressure was non existent, there was a cheap SPINNING shower head, exposed ceramic from damage, mold, etc. Everything just looked and felt nasty. Look you may be reading this and say "oh its a cabin in the woods" and you are right but I've stayed out countless places all over the country including mud parks in Texas that were much better taken care of then this Cabin. It's apparent to me that this place is just a money grab with revenue not put back into it. Sad, the location is great. Hope they remodel soon.

We've been to a couple of events here and both have been great! Huge stage, beautiful area, neat lil country store with several last minute items, and decent restrooms. I know a lot has to do with the event coordinators, but the event venue is perfect for any large events!

Decent campground if you’re not looking to spend the day there, if you’ll be out off-roading during the day. Electric sites are a bit too on top of each other for my liking. The bathrooms were super clean and employee cleaning them was super friendly. Unfortunately 2 men’s stalls for the entire campground is not enough. There was always a line waiting on the busy weekend. lol. Another bathroom/shower house would be much appreciated.
Less serious note, what’s with the stall door height being so high, up to your knees so you can see out while sitting there ?

Absolutely beautiful property, office has convenience items, drinks, candy, beer, ice, T-shirts, stickers etc. The cabin we stayed at, Lakeside Cottage, is very old but it was well kept. It’s extremely close to the highway and you can hear the road noise but it’s not that bad at night. The kitchen/dining have a step down from living/bedroom area and bathroom has a step down from kitchen. Not a problem but something I’d like to have known before hand.

Didn't rent lodging but did rent a 2-seat SXS. The machine ran good but had a momentary navigation screen glitch. We shut the machine off for a few minutes, then started back up & everything worked correctly. The navigation shows you clearly when you get off the planned trail. We saw several deer on our ride. Would definitely rent from them again.

We’re so spoiled by the camp grounds! Lots of trees for shade and the bath house is so nice! Cool in the Summer and warm in the Winter. 8 visits later and no other grounds compare. The General Store stays stocked up and such a great Family that is so welcoming.

Beautiful location. Very scenic. Visited for a wedding, and reception. Nice clean facilities, easy access and tons of room. Not very well suited for wheelchair users but for those who can transfer themselves it's ok.

This mountain is magical. Been going to festivals here for more than 10 years, and there is truly no other venue like this one. It's amazing.
