I can't speak of the rooms or service but location is absolutely gorgeous. I actually went to rescue a snake from underneath a trailer house right next to the marina. It's eerily peaceful up there this time of year.

We were visiting Hot Springs but wanted to check out this lake. We rented a pontoon boat online and showed up at the marina. The young man was very nice and efficient. He showed us what we needed to know about the boat and safety features etc. We had a great time at the lake and it was a good experience. Afterward, we ate at the little cafe and it was very clean and the food was great!

It's a shame that such a beautiful and protected area for a marina had to change to such rude and greedy management.
Our slip was in disrepair with rotten boards and roof leaks, then they changed their policy to not allow slips to transfer with the sale of older fiberglass boats without notice or discussion of other options like insurance (which we already increased at their request) or deposits. There were plenty of options, but they had no interest in discussing them and rudely suggested we look for a slip elsewhere as they've done with other long-time customers. So, we did.
Do yourself a favor and put your boat somewhere else.

Used to be really good, but they “updated” the restaurant and the food quality went downhill badly (served my kids chicken strips that were smoldering on the outside & raw in the middle, glad I tore them in half prior to serving). Slip prices went up hugely but there’s no improvement whatsoever. I love the area & enjoy this place but it’s become impossible to like going here so I’ve removed our boat from our slip and moved on. You can’t raise prices and lower the level of service while expecting people to be loyal. I don’t mind paying more for improved quality but….

WE DID THE SUNSET CRUISE. THE GUIDE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE LAKE AND AREA. WAS A LITTLE SHOCKED AT THE FUEL CHARGE AT THE END. THOUGHT IT WAS PART OF THE PACKAGE

We arrived to a cabin without working water, and no onsite manager. When we called, they said they’d be down to change our rooms. We waited and waited. Called back were told a different story. We stayed here before over thanksgiving with all my family. Same issues, no power in the cabin, they switched us. It’s a beautiful spot. No direct lake access unless you have a boat. But come prepared to face anything. This has been a common occurrence. Rooms are always clean, but a business is a business, things got to work.

Absolutely the coolest place to stay and hangout for a Lake/outdoor activities weekend! Shane and Wendy are the nicest and most fun people you’ll ever meet! They go out of their way to ensure you are always having the best time and are taken care of. Their staff is also top notch and do everything they can for you! The live music on their patio is such a fun time! It’s definitely one you don’t want to miss- especially with Rockey Don Jones playing! Their restaurant is so nice, clean, and they make the best food!! They definitely kept our drinks and bellies full all weekend! Their rooms are also very clean and comfortable! If you’re ever in the area, or are planning a trip to Lake Ouachita, this resort is a MUST!!
