Great place to stay during the shoulder season. There is no receptionist there; instead you communicate through a phone which was a bit odd. Rooms appear to be recently renovated and are nice and large. I ran into some issues during check in because I booked with a travel agency, and they actually texted my room code (rooms are keypad entry) to the travel agency instead of my phone. A bit inconvenient but other than that the hotel is a fine place to stay. Great location and views if you want to explore the Valley.

To start off with I called to ask if I could check in early and they said yes that’s fine. When I get there, there’s nobody at the front desk just a phone with a sign saying to call to talk to a representative, so I call and this lady after 15 minutes of being on hold basically told me that I can’t check in early because of blah blah blah. Getting into the bathroom is super annoying and tight with the door opening into the bathroom. We always turn the room temp off and turn on AC, well the worst part was by 2 am it was boiling hot in the room. By 3 am I couldn’t handle it anymore and went to open windows, that’s when I see the AC vent hose was not secured in the window and the window was closed, so it was blowing super hot air in the room. We’ve never used an AC like this, so idk if it’s supposed to be common sense to secure it in the window ourselves before hand or not. But it made for a very rough nights ‘sleep’. Only positive parts were the view from the surprise shared balcony we had, the bed was nice and firm how I like it and there was a nice big tv.

Don’t let the exterior appearance deter you! The rooms in Eagle Hotel is spacious, and the room comes with various amenities - microwave, fridge and coffee maker. The views of the mountains from the room is a major plus. We woke up to a crispy spring morning with a great view of the mountains as we sipped on our coffee.

Didn’t expect this level of room in Palmer. Highly recommend.

I eat at Sunrise Grill. The food is amazing, service quick and friendly, prices fair. I've never stayed in the motel.

Positive: "" Negative: The elevator only went to the second floor. We had to carry all our luggage up stairs to reach our room.

Large clean room, nice seating area, can use some more wall hooks. Water takes forever to get hot, so does the heater. Easy check in and check out. Very quiet part of town even right "downtown". The rooms are much newer than expected. Ample parking.
