Did the 3 hour glacier hike with Angie and Chantae.

It was a really great tour and value. The guides were extremely fun. The communication was great on safety and direction during the excursion.

They both had a wealth of knowledge about glaciers and the environment around us.
They were very helpful with suggestions for other sites , activities and dinning in the area. We took several of their suggestions!
The office was also very helpful before the trip. Hope to do other tours with Nova in the future!

We can’t say enough about Nova Alaska Guides. Everyone we encountered was great and both of our adventures were amazing! Pretty sure our 14 year old has now found his calling to come join your crew as a guide in the summers when he gets to college 😎🧗🏞️

Day 1 with Nova: We had an amazing day with Drew & Thomas on the Backcountry Ice Climbing tour. They were so knowledgeable & appreciated their attention to safety. This was a very long & challenging day but was something we will remember forever and a highlight from our Alaska vacation. We also really appreciated how much this tour challenged us (2 adults & 14 year old) & we’re proud that we accomplished it! Thank you Nova, Thomas & Drew!

Day 2 with Nova: Wow! This was by far the most thrilling & exhilarating experience of our entire vacation! Once again, Nova guides continued to impress us with their attention to safety on the Six Mile Canyon Whitewater rafting experience. They made sure we were safe & had a blast from the time we got onto the bus. Huge thank you to Jarvis, Bear, Newbie & the rest of the crew! This haiku is dedicated to all of you 😉😂

Great experience. We did ice climbing & glacier paddle boarding. 100/10 honestly. Our guide was so awesome with instructions and really made us feel comfortable on the ice. Once in a lifetime type of experience and a great one to check off the bucket list! The lazy river running through the glacier is something I’ll never forget!

We joined the glacier hike tour and it was absolutely incredible! The rope descent was an unexpected thrill that made the adventure even more exciting. The entire experience was unforgettable, with breathtaking views at every step. Huge thanks to our amazing guides, Maya and Drew — they’re simply the best!

Drew is definitely one of the most knowledgeable, fun, and safe tour guides we've had on our one month excursion in Alaska. Our family had a memorable family time trekking and climbing the Matanuska glacier. Drew and his team made sure that everyone had a great experience of ice climbing while ensuring everyone's maximum safety. Ice climbing is a gear specific sport and NOVA ice guides ensured that all climbers are fully equipped. I highly recommend NOVA for ice climbing.

So amazing! The guides (Sam and Chante) were friendly, knowledgeable and fabulous and the tour was definitely do-able. Easy for most of it, we had to be a little careful with our footing for some of it but the chains/spikes for the boots were great. Also the boots they gave were super comfortable and fit really well. In 55 degrees, I wore a fleece, sweatshirt and windbreaker and I was totally fine. Really cool experience!

Fantastic excursion! Our guide, Angie, was very knowledgeable and great with our kid. Angie was relaxed and fun as a tour guide, but alert to hazards and always kept safety a priority. Would love to book another excursion again with her and NOVA next time we are in Alaska.

My trip on the glacier was wonderful and that was due to Nate, our guide. I really appreciated the small ratio of 1 guide to 4 customers. I especially enjoyed the extra time on the 6 hour adventure trek.
Nate knows the glacier well and his attention to safety and adventure was fantastic.
