Apparently the motel had been recently renovated. Room was very nice with a lot of space to move around in. Furniture was reasonably comfortable with sufficient electrical outlets. Friendly & accommodating staff. Lot of grassy atea to let your dogs explore & exercises.

The room was nice with the exception of a few things missed by the housekeeping. There was a cheerio on the floor by the bed, a small bottle of some sort left on the floor in the bathroom and a string of hair left on the toilet paper roll. Also the pool area could use some extra attention. However overall the breakfast was good, the front desk workers were nice, the fitness room was nice and the halls were very clean and well kept. It's also conveniently located by stores and the interstate. (Also very quiet) I'll definitely stay here again.

It was great to stop here for one night on our way to Florida.
The rooms are clean, the beds and pillows are very comfortable, and the staff here is helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was normal.
The only drawback is that you can hear all the noise from the corridor. Otherwise, it's great!

We have a very nice stay at this La Quinta. The room was very clean and the breakfast was hot and very good. The area felt safe and was near several restaurants. The pet rate was very reasonable and the staff there very polite, thank you Jennifer! I believe this is a newer edition of La Quinta because the floors were hardwood and not carpet, which I absolutely love.

Clean, comfortable rooms with comfortable beds. Solid variety of food for breakfast. Cheapest utensils you can imagine and toiletries in the bathroom either completely empty or just barely enough for one person. Very hard to read which is which on those tiny bottles, too.
I don't expect too much from LaQuinta these days, but these are basics and should really be on a decent level.

GREAT STOP. Very clean room; everything in working order. LOVE the scent of the hotel --so clean and calming when you enter the lobby. Stayed there both coming and going. Actually got the same room--very dog friendly. Staff was friendly as well.

Our recent stay at La Quinta by Wyndham in Daphne, Alabama was unfortunately one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had, and I would not recommend this location to anyone.

From the moment we arrived, the room was in poor condition: furniture was cracked and scratched, a nightstand had a sticky spill that had never been cleaned, and a light fixture was filled with dead bugs, which clearly hadn’t been touched in a long time. The couch had visible holes and wear, and one of the bathroom mirror lights didn’t even work.

Noise was another major issue. From 6 AM to 11 PM every day, there was constant stomping, yelling, and jumping coming from the room above us. We complained to the front desk, but nothing was ever done. We weren’t able to get proper rest our entire stay.

By the third day, we found mold in the shower along the seams and handles. One of the bathroom doors didn’t even have a working lock — and when my wife tried to use it, she injured her finger in the broken mechanism. We had to keep that door shut the rest of our stay. Even breakfast was a letdown, with cold food by the time we sat down.

Then came the final straw: we were charged a $100 security deposit at check-in with no prior notice, and we still haven’t gotten it back. This is unacceptable, especially considering the room’s poor condition.

After contacting Wyndham’s customer service, they offered us 3,000 Wyndham Rewards points as compensation — but here’s the catch: you need at least 7,500 points to earn even one free night at most of their hotels. So not only did we have a terrible experience and lose our deposit, but the points they offered aren’t even enough to make up for a single stay. It feels like a hollow gesture rather than real accountability.

I’ve requested a partial refund and the return of our deposit. If that doesn’t happen, I’ll continue sharing this experience so others know what they might be walking into.

Unless major improvements are made in cleanliness, guest service, and communication, I strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

Location was easy on & off I10.
Lots of shopping & eating possibilities nearby. 1 of which was California Dreaming. Quite a surprise.
Our room was clean & bed was very comfortable. One of the best LaQuinta we have stayed at recently.
Front desk staff was very friendly & helpful in suggestions of where to eat
