The RV park had such a beautiful view and reasonable rates. So peaceful and serene. The mining experience was pretty cool too. We found some nice quartz crystals. Friendly people in the campground. Everyone showing off their treasures. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our time here digging for crystals a lot more than we expected! We almost didn’t come, but glad we did. They had 3 dumps just in the roughly 2hrs we were there. Great unique family experience if you’re in the area. We still have to soak our finds to get them clean, but I think we got some pretty good ones.

During our trip to Hot Springs we knew we wanted to do a little digging. We’ve never done it before and with 4 kids in tow, we wanted to get them off their devices and do something active. We had the best time! The 90° weather wasn’t ideal, but we could have spent hours playing in the dirt.

Going into it, I had no idea what to expect - would it be hard to find something? Would there be much there to find? We were pleasantly surprised. We found so many unique rocks and crystals and it didn’t take long at all for everyone to fill up a big heavy bag of treasures.

They also have tours available, but we didn’t take one.

Tip: bring all of your own supplies. We stopped at Walmart on the way and got gardening hand trowels and rakes and it was perfect. My overachiever husband brought a full size shovel, but we really didn’t need it.

Great family experience with no electronics in sight!! Lots of beautiful quartz and crystals. We were there abot 2.5 hrs, they did two mining dumps resulting in GREAT finds and easier digging. *Highly recommend!!* Wear shoes/clothes you dont mind ruining with red clay dirt. Bring a cart and buckets- they provide bags, but the rocks are heavy and its awkward to carry the bag without handles. 10/10, will return.

We went here to dig for crystal. 4 adults. Two of us were early twenties and the other two in 50s. We all enjoyed it and had fun digging for the treasures! At first we didn’t know what to look for but it is the more clear crystals that look like glass is what you want especially the ones that are pointed. We bought the tools there because Walmart said they weren’t selling garden tools because they were out of season in October. However, the tools we needed were $5 and $6 each for the two we were going to use so not bad. I will say if you are going in the heat to bring a cooler with ice water you can keep in the car and bring your own thermal cups so you can refill. Also, some people had a wagon but we didn’t and we were fine but we used back packs instead. We brought a few snacks but they said we could leave and come back too. So we left and got pizza up the road at Amore Pizzeria and Bakery and it was great and filling. There is a few restaurants close by also. They do have porta potties also. If it is going to be a hot day it may be uncomfortable for you. It was 90 degrees out today when we went and I had to go to the SUV to cool down. You can try to take a golf umbrella or wear hats may help. Highly recommend and would do again. I posted a pic of a nice crystal my niece found and all of us found some smaller ones. Most of what we picked up were just white rocks though lol!

What an amazing experience! My husband, youngest son and I decided to have a new experience. My husband watched some YouTube videos and re-searched crystal mines close to us and this one stood out. The employees were
so friendly and super helpful. This mine was very newbie friendly. It is a hot and dirty experience but so enjoyable and peaceful. The scenery was breathtaking. The crystals were beautiful. Definitely a must try.

What a great experience! We got an informative and fun tour of the crystal mine, dug for quartz crystals, and rode a zipline over the quartz mine. It was beautiful!

My husband and I visited this mine yesterday afternoon to attempt to dig up some quartz. The ladies at the gift shop were really nice and helpful. Pay very close attention to their directions to the actual mine. The gentleman at the actual mine was also very nice and genuinely seemed like he wanted us to find something good. You will find quartz here - no question. It's all over the place. You may have to dig for nicer pieces though.
