We had our hearts set on getting married in Ojai, but we had been struggling to find a venue there that suited our budget and our sensibilities. We came across White Sage while browsing Instagram and we loved that they were local to Ojai and also seemed to have a beautiful aesthetic. When we met Brooke over drinks we immediately loved her. It was like reuniting with an old friend. She was so kind and open and easy to talk to and made us both feel like the things we wanted were completely attainable. She helped us find our dream venue with her local Ojai connections. We had been searching for a place for over two years and Brooke helped us find a place within weeks. Brooke and her team at White Sage went above and beyond what they were contracted to do. Over the course of six months, Brooke kept us on task and always made us feel like we could reach out to her about anything no matter how small or insignificant. They made us feel like there was no task too big and they made the entire process feel easy and fun. There were so many small details and touches that we would not have even thought about that made our wedding the most perfect, magical day. Everything ran like a well oiled machine and she took so much stress out of the weekend for us. From the software they used with us to coordinate all the various facets of the wedding planning to acting as our go between for every question our guests had leading up to the wedding, they instilled in us so much confidence that our wedding would be as meaningful as we’d hoped, and it turned out to be the greatest experience of our lives. We could not recommend White Sage more. They were the perfect company to plan our wedding and have now become lifelong friends.

We hired White Sage (Arkansas) to help plan our wedding and would recommend them to anyone who is considering a wedding planner. We worked with Brooke and Arden, although Arden was our primary planner and point of contact for everything. She was amazing throughout the entire process and always took care of our needs and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We chose the Quartz planning package and it was perfect for us, although Arden often went above and beyond our expectations to make sure our destination wedding in Hot Springs was going to be perfect. Within the last month leading up to the wedding she handled all of the communication and coordination with vendors in a very professional way, and we honestly could not have pulled everything together without her. On the day-of, she was with us from morning until after the reception was over, helping make sure everything went smoothly and that we stuck to our timeline as best as possible. When a couple hiccups occurred with vendors she handled everything without us even needing to know about it until after it had been resolved. For us, she was truly an indispensable part of our team and we cannot overstate how important it was for us to hire her and White Sage. Also both of our moms absolutely loved her. Thank you Arden!

White Sage helped us plan our perfect day. Brooke assisted us with planning a wedding in basically 6 months. She helped with keeping us within budget, vendors, and final details. Towards the end I was burnt out but she definitely stepped up and made sure everything was what I wanted. The day was beautiful and went so smoothly.

As I sit down to write this review, I'd like to point out that we had a beautiful wedding and Brooke introduced us to some killer vendors. Our photographers, caterer, band, florist, were all out of this world amazing. We are very thankful that she connected us with them!

When we first interviewed wedding planners to help us plan our California wedding all the way in Texas, we appreciated all of the questions that Brooke asked on the front end. We also appreciated that she was willing to work within our budget and was not pretentious at all. She reassured us that we could have our dream wedding within our budget and that she would help make it happen. Throughout the planning process, I appreciated Brooke's vigor and zeal in attention to detail and checking things off of our list with a short time frame.

That being said, I felt that I was not listened to as the bride. On each phone call I struggled to assert my opinion on flowers, food, cadence of ceremony, etc. For example, the florist would ask me a question about my bouquet and before I had a chance to answer, Brooke would chime in and answer for me. On wedding day, we had unexpected rain the entire day and had to move our ceremony inside of a greenhouse for cover. It was still dripping in the greenhouse, and when my mom asked if we could have the chairs wiped down for guests, Brooke told my mom that it was the venue's problem and not her problem and that we should have known this could happen when we selected the venue. I understand that not every personality is easy to deal with when you are a wedding planner, but coming from a customer service profession myself, I felt as if the level of care and service could have been better. She also complained about how stressed and annoyed she was to one of my bridesmaids.

All in all, we loved our special day, and Brooke delivered a great product itself, but I would recommend more professionalism next time.
