Let’s first start with the positive. The staff at the front desk is great. Very friendly, very quick and very helpful!
The second floor is being renovated so there were sinks and wood and debris all outside the rooms. A couple of Spanish men working on it and spoke no English. I believe they are using the second floor for their own rooms while working or perhaps they live there and are also working. The room was fairly large, however, the white bedspread was stained in a few places, as were the carpets. I pulled down the fitted sheet to look to see if it had bedbugs and instead, it was also stained. There also was a little debris from when they worked on this room. The ceiling had places it was repaired from what looks like water leaks. We were staying just overnight so I was grossed out enough to just want to sleep in my clothes and not even shower. It really unnerved me.

For $100 I was hoping for more. The room was clean which was nice. But the thing that has frustrated me to no end is the “breakfast”. I’m traveling with 2 teen boys and I pick hotels based on the breakfast situation. They promoted a “to-go breakfast” which we’ve all had. Muffins and fruit and juice and bagels , etc. Hand held breakfast.
There were 4 apples and coffee that looked like tea. I asked when breakfast would be out thinking wet missed it but I was informed that’s all there is. So if you’re hoping to feed your kids in the morning, this isn’t the hotel for you.

I’d leave a 0 if was an option. First room had no lock tumbler to hallway door allowing anyone to trip lock to get in. Same room had standing water beside bed in carpet. Reported issue and was moved to another room. Second room had a musty damp smell from steam cleaning carpet with no ac left running. Found 3 boogers on the wall! “Grab and go breakfast” was a joke. Old fruit along with peanut butter crackers and granola bars. Watered down coffee was provided though. Pool was closed. Both front security doors wouldn’t close so anyone could walk inside. I ask management about a partial refund and nothing. At a cost of $91 this was a horrible experience! Stay away from this place!

I don't even know where to begin, everything about this experience was awful. To start, the ENTIRE hall way smelled like weed and did so, the entire time I was there. All day long. At first, I assumed it was the construction crews staying there (there were a lot from what I could tell), however, they were gone all day and only returned late in the evening and it was a constant odor of marijuana that never went away. I also noticed they have multiple guests that reside there permanently.Which Hey, In this economy, who can blame them? But bc of that I think their service towards the guests who only stay 2 or 3 nights, is completely overlooked bc they care more to cater to the people who live there, and just let them all lay around and get high all day at the expense of the customers they will probably never see again. The rooms were disgusting. The shower looked as if it had never been cleaned, there were bugs and crumbs all over the place. Had there been options to stay anywhere else, I would have. It felt like I was trapped in some sort of horror movie. The area feels unsafe and you can't even find solace in your room bc it is so nasty. I was able to clean my room but there was not much I could do about the bugs. Then, when trying to let management know about the issue, I realized why I seemed to be the only one who expected sanitary conditions. I met the Sunday night manager. I couldn't even give my complaint bc standing next to her made me feel like I was going to pass out. She smelled so terribly of body odor and Marijuana that I couldn't even stand next to her. She must not have cared about the rooms bc her standards for personal hygiene are severely lacking. She was not friendly and didn't seem to notice that the environment around her, that she works in daily and is supposed to be in charge of managing, was in an extremely deplorable state. I would honestly suggest sleeping in your vehicle or even a tent, outside, you'll probably see less bugs and there won't be a smelly lady, with a bad attitude behind the counter.

I'd like to edit my review after seeing the response bc you claim this is not typical and this review (added photos) seems to point to the issues I stated. Not all of them but the lady smelling of marijuana. I'm confident it was the staff smoking or again the permanent tenants. It was a constant odor. Not just a one off occurrence. I have been staying here at least once a month since February for work. Last week it was booked solid due to the holiday and they put me on a standby list for cancellations. Fortunately someone canceled and I was able to stay through Monday instead so driving to and from Pine Bluff, which was the closest room available.

Just checked in for another 4 days and the young man was rude. He wouldn’t place my license or room key in my hand. He laid them on the counter with me standing there with my hand out. This is a first because I’ve had no problem with anyone else while checking in. Hopefully he’s just having a bad day ? He said no smoking and no pets but I was slapped in the face by marijuana walking up the stairs. Got in the room and there’s crumbs everywhere.

This place was bad. It got 2 stars because the lady at the front desk was nice. I don't know how they got 100% guests recommend in 2018, but the place must have gone downhill hard over the last 4 years.

Just see the pictures of the breakfast for an example.

The entire hotel needs to be remodeled and they need better communication between the reservation department and the front desk. I was assured the pool was open and it had been closed for maintenance for several months. Staff are friendly and were apologetic about the incorrect information we were told during booking.
