The person at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. After driving 4 hours it was nice to be greeted in a friendly manner. The room was clean but there was an odd musty smell. I did not pay extra for the breakfast, so I cannot rate that experience. The rating would have been higher had it not been for the musty odor.

I've seen the reviews from other guests; it's unfortunate, but I didn't see anything close to what they complained about.

We almost didn't stay because of the low ratings, but we decided to look at our room before we paid for it.

The king bed room was very large, and very clean! It had everything that we needed (microwave, TV, fridge, shampoo, etc.) the bed was comfortable and clean.

The staff was welcoming and friendly. The hotel store had a selection of beers and sodas, as well as various snacks and over the counter drugs (aspirins and such).

The pool and gym were clean and ready for use.

The restaurant had good food. I wish the breakfast were complimentary, but not all Holiday Inns offer that.

I'd stay again.

Booked a stay at this spot for a few days. The bathtub drain wouldn’t drain, within an hour of notifying the front desk, Shawn arrived to help. He fixed it and was on his way. Very polite and helpful. 10/10 will definitely be booking at this hotel again. Thanks guys!

I would like to commend the lady at the front desk, Ashley D. For the help she gave my friend and me while we were at this hotel. The hotel did have a few things that were out of order while we were there, but she helped us cope with any problems we encountered. Thank you!

It's exactly what everyone else is saying. Mildew musty smell, halls and lobby was in the temperature in the upper 80's yet when they want they turn on the ac and cool it down instantly . Breakfast didn't exist, odd staff, rooms were dirty, very disgusting and disappointing. Lights didn't work in the room the curtains didn't work tub didn't drain as others stated. All I got was a sorry and a smile. No offer to change rooms or anything, so we left and stayed at the comfort inn right down the street at 2400 phillips drive, which is much better, way cleaner and 50 dollars less. I have stayed at holiday inns from the Mississippi to Las vegas and this was the absolute worst. To the management and owners, you are destroying your hotel, nobody wants to bring their children or elderly to a hotel that smells like mold has a lobby and halls that are absolutely unbearable dirty rooms tubs that don't drain and the odd large groups of all male migrants using the tables and benches by the pool as hanging out spot in the evening.

For starters I was charged $213.60 twice by this establishment then when I arrived, my room had no telephone, but it did have a used syringe behind the nightstand. Then the next morning after showering, I discovered that there was no hairdryer. I called the front desk from my cell phone and no one ever responded. This Has been the worst experience of my entire life and one of the most expensive as well. I would not recommend this to my worst enemy. They are falsely marketing and advertising this place as a three star hotel and it’s clearly right along the line of those Motel sixes in Memphis. You know what I’m talking about yet they act like they have a pool and a restaurant and they don’t even have breakfast. The pool has been closed. There is no restaurant and the entire staff here is incompetent. Amy, the manager who I spoke with who was supposed to help me with the duplicate charge, accomplished nothing! Not only was she unhelpful, she outright lied to me! I will be disputing this charge with my bank and if you have small children or you valued your health, you should avoid this place at all costs. It is not safe and it could be potentially dangerous for children. I just went down to the front desk and there wasn’t a single soul there. I guess that explains why no one‘s answering the phone. I don’t know what to do about the syringes that lack of hairdryer and I’m going to be late to the event that brought me to this town in the first place.

Stayed at this hotel for the eclipse and was disgusted by this property.

The room was clearly dirty, with dirt, dust, and hair immediately visible upon entry.

The room had a smell so powerful and terrible that it hit you upon entry and never went away. Part mildew, part human, completely awful. It was even noticeable when reentering the room from the bathroom. It smelled so bad that sleep was impacted.

Shower drained so slowly that I had to turn the water off multiple times. The filter in the bathroom appeared to have never been cleaned.

The front desk staff was unnecessarily rude when we arrived early and inquired about early check-in.

The pool appeared to be open, but the water was green.

I thought it was strange that breakfast wasn't included, but given how poorly everything else was managed, I wouldn't have eaten here for free anyway.

Location was fine, but there are several other hotels within a stone's throw. Stay at one of them instead.

I have never seen an IHG property in such a sorry state. Management should be ashamed.
