Great place to get outside, camp, or just take a walk. You can walk along the levee or around the area; there is also a trail into the woods that goes along the lake. There are plenty of picnic tables along the lake as well, but watch out for snakes.

Lake Frierson State Park is a relatively small, 114-acre, state park located on the eastern shore of Lake Frierson, about 10 miles north of Jonesboro. Lake Frierson is a 335-acre lake. Fishing is available year-round for bream, catfish, crappie, saugeye, and bass.
The park fronts the western edge of picturesque Crowley’s Ridge, a geological phenomenon which rises 100-200 feet above the surrounding countryside and stretches from Cape Girardeau, Missouri to the Mississippi River at Helena, Arkansas.
The State Park offers a campground with seven campsites (five Class B with water and electric, and two tent sites with no hookups).
The park also features picnic sites, an enclosed, climate-controlled pavilion, playground, hiking trails, a launch ramp, and fishing pier.
The visitor center includes nature exhibits and a bait shop. Fishing boats and kayaks are available for rent.
The park's interpretive hiking trail, Dogwood Lane Trail, is approximately 1/2-mile long, self-guided, with a 1/8-mile spur that leads to the visitor center. Lake Frierson State Park has more dogwoods than any other state park its size and bursts into a wild array of dogwood blossoms each spring.

Nice lake, this is a fishing spot so have some boats launching, great shade trees and some grassy areas to walk our dog.

Lake Frierson State Park is an amazing place to visit. The lake was really nice and calm. There is a both ramp, a kid's playground, and barbecue grills with nice picnic spots. The park is relatively clean. Since my visit was in the wintertime, there were not any activities going on, and trees were all leafless and naked brown. I bet it's going green and beautiful in other seasons. I definitely enjoyed my visit. Hopefully, I get to visit there in the summer and enjoy kayaking. I am looking forward to the summer to revisit Lake Frierson State Park.

a very quiet place to enjoy with the family, in addition to many green and shady areas, it has access to boats and tables where you can eat and barbecue where you can grill meat, it has a small pier where you can stop to fish and enjoy the beautiful view. Very nice place personally I liked it a lot.

Very cool State Park? The campground is small, as in not a lot of rv/tent sites. But, that is one of the things I really liked about it! The sites have plenty of space, you aren't right up on your neighbor. Beautiful throughout?!
The whole experience was really awesome?!!!
