Nice university museum with local and national based exhibits. There are plenty of activies for children to participate in and they even have spaces for those with sensory issues. There is a gift shop for merchandise and memorabilia too. The staff as always been friendly as well. It would be nice if there was closer parking for visitors but that's about the only drawback.

Sad, but true, this was my first visit to this place. I said sad because the history they share both by informational displays and hands on activities such as the Earthquake table as you enter the museum and the ROCK N ROLL headphones so visitors can travel down memory lane or can hear firsthand the early days of Music and some of the most famous and great musicians that had deep roots in our great state.

It was hard to find at first. I called and still couldn't figure out the directions and the campus kids weren't much help. But once I was there it blew my mind. The mastodon is the main attraction. Once you go upstairs or take the elevator, you go to your left and your mind would be blown with all of the exhibits! I absolutely loved it and will be going back really soon. The pics I posted isn't even half of what the exhibit has.

It is such a great place to explore. Give yourself time to really view this some interactive things to do. So much to see and explore. Really lovely place.

Our kids had a great time. We got to walk around and see all of the cool memorabilia and artifacts.

Not a large museum but free to visit. We even had fun with Hassin doing an escape scenario routine. Spoiler alert, we were able to restore our oxygen supply on the moon base. ? Also enjoyed walking around the university campus.

This was an awesome little museum! There were many hands on exhibits and many visually interesting exhibits. The highlight was Mona the mastodon. There is no entrance charge and it occupied the kids for a full hour. It probably could have kept them interested another hour if the museum wasn’t closing.
