Lydia helped us give our daughter and her husband the perfect wedding. We are from North Alabama and only had one chance to go to Pensacola before the wedding. We had to do everything else by phone, text, and email. Lydia managed the vendors, timeline, and decorations to perfection. She even managed to get the house where the reception was being held painted three days prior to the wedding! You can't go wrong if you use Lydia.

Weddings by Lydia is wonderful! As mother of the groom, helping my son plan his wedding in three months, I hired Lydia as a full wedding planner because some things were hard for my son and his bride to plan from out of town and I was unable to fully be of help due to medical care needs during the three months before the wedding. So we were in need of a wedding planner but all other planners, either their reviews were not good or they would not return my calls. After looking relentlessly for a week, I saw Lydia's website and contacted her that day. She answered immediately and met with me that afternoon. I also had a meeting at a venue and she went with me and helped make suggestions. I knew then she would be good and the right one for my son's wedding. So I hired Lydia and she handled all plans but consulted with me, my son and his bride, for our, mostly their decisions and kept us informed and updated of all plans. I was able to be involved with some of the planning but I couldn't have done so without the help of Lydia. She handled everything with great care and managed all plans well and coordinated a beautiful and just about perfect wedding. She was professional but was caring and concerned for all our needs. She took interest and care in our family and took time for us whenever we needed something. She arranged meetings with vendors and myself to go over plans and choices mostly made by my son and his bride. Lydia also kept in constant contact with all of us by phone, text or email. She met with my son and his bride also on Skype a couple of times. The wedding, ceremony and reception was just beautiful and grand! And the reception was loads of fun! Everyone, all family and guests, even the vendors thoroughly enjoyed the entire wedding. Lydia was on top of everything and made sure everything went smoothly and so that we wouldn't have to worry about anything and allowed us just to enjoy the wedding. She got me through the three months of wedding planning as mother of the groom yet allowing me to get through my medical care and time to recover from treatments so I would be well in time for the wedding. She handled things when I could not and she coordinated and carried out wedding plans well. Thanks to Lydia, my son and my first daughter-in-law had an absolutely grand wedding!

My now wife and I had a very pleasant experience working with Lydia. Lydia made the whole experience feel easy and seamless. All of the planning was done over the phone since we are nonresidents of the area, but we were never concerned that the ceremony would not go well. Lydia is very accommodating with scheduling time to talk and she is prompt in her responses. Our ceremony was beautiful, the planning was easy, and Lydia was very pleasant to work with overall. Working with Lydia was the best decision my husband and I made in planning our wedding! From the very beginning, Lydia's professionalism and responsiveness shined through. As a very busy couple trying to plan a wedding from out of state, we were so lucky to have Lydia wipe away our stress by being willing to talk to us any day of the week, staying on top of what needed to be addressed and when, and providing us with a comprehensive list of excellent vendors in the area. All we had to do was pick our preferences, and Lydia handled the rest. She even had suggestions that made our day that much more special. Lydia is extremely kind, patient, and encouraging.
