Good burger, but not amazing.

TL:DR
Definitely worth a visit, especially for their sides! A decent burger, but do NOT expect the best burger you've ever had, or you'll be disappointed.

Details:
The atmosphere and decor in this local favorite is great! The staff was very friendly, and everything smelled delicious!
I enjoyed the fried okra and corn nuggets, but the burger was... just okay. It wasn't disgusting, but I had been expecting a lot, and it didn't live up to the hype. (Disclaimer: Maybe I was expecting too much?)
Either way, the food is definitely worth stopping for if you are in town, but I wouldn't make a trip out of my way for it.
Be prepared for a wait if you don't order ahead - they do a pretty steady business from what I could tell.

Nasty dry burger. Part of it's my fault. I ordered a swiss mushroom burger, and that's what I expected. I got a burger loaded with onions and mayonnaise, and the meat and the bun were dry. I don't really know what the cheese was. I had to scrape off the mushroom onion mix so I could eat it.
My wife read the fine print on the menu, and it says it comes with onions and mayo. So it's my fault I missed that. Usually, a swiss mushroom burger has swiss cheese and mushrooms and meat.
My wife got a medium-sized burger and said it was good. Both of our fries were very, very salty. I was disappointed because I came here to get a really good burger in Hope.

I am so glad that we stopped here amazing food!!! But I got to say the heart attack hot dog was worth stealing from a boyfriend ? everything was very fresh and cooked to perfection. Bonus : they have the best ice

After reading other reviews the bar was set pretty high. This was our first time there, passing through heading to TX. The burger was pretty dry and made me wonder if it was frozen patty? My husband felt the same way. Everything else was fresh and delicious. The sweet potato fries were great… David’s burgers are definitely tastier.

DELICIOUS!!!!

Avocado burger and fries; plain hamburgers with tater tots; bacon burger and onion rings; and milkshakes!!!! We couldn’t finish the milkshakes after we ate our meals, but it was all delicious!

Great atmosphere! Excellent customer service! Tailgate booths are SUPER comfortable and SUPER cute to sit in! Bathrooms were clean! The decor was super fun!

We will definitely add this stop on our yearly Watermelon Festival Tradition!

Man... where to start... so, I usually give 4 stars to places I really like, but this one gets 5 stars for sure! From the friendly staff, to the cool decor to the amazing food, I have no complaints. I was in Murfreesboro and made the almost hour drive in to try this place and was NOT disappointed! They have a pretty diverse selection of different burgers and sandwiches and I will personally couch for the Club sandwich and fries! Every bite was just delicious and as much as you might think that's a pretty simple order, you'd be surprised at how often places make it a mediocre meal. Not so at Tailgaters! Food was hot and fresh and served by smiling faces in a truly unique setting. If you're in or near Hope, Arkansas this place is a MUST! (You'll thank me later)

What a fantastic stop!!! Great atmosphere (there are actually tailgate booths to sit in), service was AWESOME, and the food was AMAZING! So many delicious options—can’t wait for our next adventure this way! We’ll definitely be back the next chance we have!

We stopped at tailgaters on our vacation and it was so good! The service was great, the burgers were delicious and I loved their fried pickles. If you are near Hope, Arkansas you have to stop in!
