The new owners are wonderful. The place is clean, all the residents are extremely nice. With a great price. I recommend the Ponderosa motel to anyone that is traveling through or wants to stay for a while in a quaint, quiet, safe, place for young and old alike.

There have been a lot of Renovations going on around the Ponderosa Motel. The owner is working really hard to get it shipshape. Every time I've stayed here my rooms have been nice and clean. It also seems that most of the riffraff has moved out of the building.

Under new ownership and tons of construction going on. Started out friendly but rather California rude,if you know what I mean. Ended up paying in advance for2 weeks, was told we had2 hours to vacate and manager refused to refund payment. Very unsatisfactory, oven didn't work and there was no tv service at all. So to get my$200 dollars back I'm going to have to sue in small claims court. Only stay here if you're desperate and be warned. Oh and there were cockroaches everywhere!!

Awful place. Stayed here long term for a few months, they went through different managers twice while I was there and in the last couple months there were no managers. The owner is a sleazeball who couldn't care less, raised rent in the middle of a pandemic and can't keep the place together. Rooms flooded twice last month, once from bad plumbing the second from a flash flood and he had the gall to try and squeeze more money out of me for some bullcrap pet fees that weren't mentioned at all when I moved in. While my room was filled with water due to his negligence and poor management. Avoid like the plague.

I had a run-down room, there is no phone, no Wi-Fi, no TV, no hot water, and the AC unit was leaking water down the wall, along with ants behind the desk. When I had mentioned something to the owner she sent the maintenance guy over , all he did was look at the wall and told me I could take a shower in a different room. I didn't even get a refund or discount. I paid for a whole week and had to deal with it.

This place got a 1 only because I couldn't give it anything lower. My room was nasty and filthy. The heaters are old and probably never been cleaned. It made both of us have sore throats. And sinus infections. you can watch stuff blow out of it. The WiFi and tv both don't work. Thier Was a GAP under the door so big we had to use the towels in the room to block bugs and animals from coming in. DONT stay here.

This place is nasty. They have roaches.and something had backed up in the sink left black nasty stuff in it. There was trash all in the carpet and no pillows. we left that night and called her the next day she said we couldn't get our money back.

Rented a little house on same property motel. Former managers were great. Just be careful of interaction with new manager and property owner.
