Went for the rodeo and was a wonderful experience!! It’s always fun to see the livestock and people!
Bathrooms were okay….not the greatest but doable. Always expensive but unfortunately that’s where we are at right now economically.
Greatest thing is they have two nights of family pricing. Of course during the week but it also is a nice family environment too.
Buying tickets in advance is the way to go. There were other entrances to get in, most people went in main entrance so it took a while to get through that line. Not too terribly bad though. Either way, the ticket line isn’t all that bad too but if bought in advance it saves one extra line to stand in.

Had a blast. There were thousands of people there for the old fort days rodeo, but to my surprise we didn't have to wait in line very long for our tickets. We even got really good seats. Ticket pricing was on par. It was my little ones first rodeo so naturally we had to get some merchandise and her a new cowgirl hat, and concessions of course. All in all we had a wonderful time. There were a lot venders and a lot of events, and we participated in everything. All the staff that we came in contact with were really friendly and helpful. We had the best time. I highly recommend going to one of the rodeo events if you're in town looking for something fun to do. Sorry about the pictures. I tried to get better ones but was too busy enjoying the show.

Pretty well kept up with all the people there,

We were here for the livestock show. We practically lived here for over a week. Between market steer and commercial heifer shows. This arena is a staple in our area and has been well maintained. I do wish they could redo beef barn 1, since we got flooded out, but the area has grown so that there really isn't anywhere to move to. I loved that the concerts were under Hugh Harding instead of in the big arena thought. Great job on star selection!

Went to Fort Smitch Comic Con. Was pretty fun. Though the main stage room wasn't air conditioned and the panel room was way too cold. Kind of silly how the facility was run. Plus the owners of the facility weren't available during the con which is stupid. I think they should hold this con somewhere else next year.

It was okay until it started filling up with the overly privileged kids. Cutting lines, vaping for all to smell, and eventually just an unsafe atmosphere. Lot cops where there monitoring but the actual policeman weren't much visible or active as I seen. Maybe they were every where I wasn't they do have a big job. The rides were duct taped, and broken. I even seen a large cotter pin laying on part of the ferris wheel when trying to tell the ride supervisor, he just wave me on. I am guessing no real safety inspections happen for this. The acts were just odd and very unimpressive. I really don't want to do this again.

We were at the park on Memorial Day for the 90th anniversary of the Fort Smith Rodeo. Great Rodeo! It started a little late, but it was worth the wait. Good food, wonderful atmosphere, easy to get into and out of. It was a fun outing for the family.

Dirt rodeo stadium under a covered atrium. Went to the state fair and a monster truck show, and both times was a decent facility without much congestion for how busy it was. Navigating from I-540 may take you into the back way so you will have to drive around the block but if you have a little directional sense it's not bad.
