Filip is amazing. I never thought I could learn, and see so much of San Francisco in about 2 hours. He has a passion for the city that is contagious! If you are unsure of this tour don't be! You will never regret it.

I was in San Francisco in April 2025 for a family reunion and booked a tour for my family which included members from both San Francisco and abroad. Even with high expectations from the outstanding reviews, everyone was surprised with how enjoyable and informative the tour was. Vicky did a fabulous job of both engaging the group and delivering relevant and interesting information about a city that I know pretty well. We went on the Union Square to Embarcadero tour and it was well paced, had appropriate restroom stops, and even included a delicious stop at the fortune cookie factory in China Town. It's San Francisco, so there were some inclines, but the route she chose was appropriate for most people both young and old (my dad is 80). The tour took a little over 2.5 hours and was about 2 miles of walking. I'd love to go back to take some of the other tours they organize. Thanks Vicky!

This walking tour was the highlight of my trip to San Francisco! Our guide Filip was an outstanding storyteller, and I learned so much about the history of the city through this experience. Highly recommend!

Had a quick trip to SF and we wanted to do something different and get a little exercise so we took the walking tour with Filip. We’ve been to SF many times but had no idea of the history. I’m not a big history person but Filip wove his personal story beautifully into that of a city he obviously loves. There were so many facts that were so interesting to me that all I can say is you’re missing out if you don’t take this tour with Filip!

The tour with Philip Todd in San Francisco was absolutely incredible! Right from the start, it was clear that he’s a guide full of knowledge, passion, and a genuine love for the city. Philip took us to fascinating places—some we hadn’t even heard of—and gave each stop a historical and cultural depth that truly enriched the experience.

Beyond his expertise, Philip’s friendly, professional, and fun approach made the tour genuinely special. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up booking a private tour with him afterwards—and that was even more amazing! Highly recommended!

Absolutely brilliant tour with Filip on our first full day in San Francisco, and it was SO much better than we could have imagined. Filip's immense passion for the city and the great depth of his knowledge are apparent from the outset, and his enthusiasm in sharing his knowledge and his storytelling abilities are a joy to experience. The 2.5 hours seem to pass by in a flash, with not a boring moment. There are plenty of places to stop and listen, and also a toilet break for those who need it, so put on some comfortable shoes, bring water, sunnies, a cap/hat, possibly a jacket and an umbrella (this is SF, after all!) and prepare to immerse yourself in an utterly absorbing introduction to this fascinating city. Filip delves into marvellous detail about how the city came into being, the gold rush, the French connection, the origins of Chinatown, politics, earthquakes, the impact of the bay, all the way to the present cost of living, recessions, Silicon Valley, diversity and thoughts for the future. I cannot recommend this enough! Thanks Filip, this is probably the best walking tour we have ever done.

I just did a SF tour with Filip Todd last week and it was outstandingly Terrific!!! The man was absolutely fantastic. I enjoyed his knowledge, his enthusiasm, his demeanor; this is one great person. Coming from Hawaii we travel to SF pretty often but I learned so much that I never knew before. If Todd is available I'd highly recommend a tour with this gentleman, his own personal story is also incredible. This was an eye opening tour; take it you will NOT forget it!
