I think their print quality was generally pretty good. Some of their arrangements with discounts are reasonable. However, what really matters in the end is how they solve problems. In my case, they printed their logo over text that I had put in my book. The logo did not appear on screen and indicate that it was going to appear over my text. They agreed that should not have happened and they offered me a reprint at 50% discount. Most reputable companies would’ve reprinted it at no charge, but I agreed and decided to pay 50% to get a corrected copy. They gave me a discount code. When I Went to re-order the reprint the discount code did not only reduce the price 50% but it changed the quality from their premium product to one of their lesser products as a means to achieve the discount. I challenge them on this because I believed I was going to get a reprint exactly as I originally ordered it at 50% off. As it turns out, they said the price went up and I couldn’t get that. Ultimately the reprint discount would’ve only given me about 10 or $15 off which is way less than 50%. In summary what really matters is how a company addresses their errors and their customer support. Originally I would’ve given this company five stars but because of this commitment failure, I changed it to one star and in fact will not use them again for any of my business related, personal related, and community service printed books.

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!
I ordered an album that came with a defect. I went into the customer chat, where I was told that they would reprint my album with no charge and that I would receive a confirmation email. The email never came. I once again went into the customer chat to ask for updated on my order and they told me that there was a delay, but that I would receive a confirmation email. Once again, the confirmation email never came. For the 3rd time I went to the customer chat, where they promised that I would receive the confirmation email that day. Once I got the confirmation email, they told me that I would receive a link to track my deliver, that I never received. For the 4th time I went to the customer chat, where I got the tracking link. Once I got the new album, guess what? The album came with the same mistake as the first one!!
For the 5th time I went to the customer chat, where I asked for the full refund. Then I was told that my refund would arrive in 5-7 days. Guess what, it never arrived! Now, for the 6th time, I’m once again in the customer chat, with the promise that I will receive my money today.
This situation is absurd! I don’t know how they can have such a disorganised company, where they can’t treat their clients properly. ABSOLUTE JOKE!!!

Good functionality and product. But be aware of their privacy information processes. I received a random persons private Mixbook by Mixbook's mistake. I advised them and they requested me to destroy it. I declined advising that was there responsibility. They agreed and said they would send a return label. It never arrived. After 6 weeks of back and forward they advised because I lived outside the US they couldn't send the return label and please destroy the books. Unsatisfactory in my opinion for such an expensive product when they make a mistake.

I recently searched online for the best company to use to make a photobook for my daughter’s wedding. Based on their positive reviews and numerous formatting option to choose from, I selected Mixbook.

Navigating their website and Creating the book was easy. Lots of formatting options. I was thrilled when I received the book much quicker than anticipated. The quality and materials met my expectations.

I noticed an issue with the book and brought it to the attention of customer service. I received an immediate response.

It was evident that Mixbook truly cares about customer satisfaction. They apologized for the inconvenience on my order and immediately processed a reprint of my order free of charge.

I received the reprint within a week and couldn’t be happier.

I will definitely use Mixbook again to create a photobook in the future.

I created a book of our Hawaii vacation for my husband. Upon completion the delivery expectation was December 17. The book was over $200. I went ahead and ordered since it was able to be here in time for Christmas. On 12/20 I received an email saying it had just been shipped. When I checked tracking it won’t be here until after Christmas. 9 days after expected delivery. I chatted with their customer service team and was offered a credit of shipping charges $15.99. I asked why they wouldn’t have used expedited shipping when they were so far behind in shipping. Was told that would have been a better way to handle the problem but unfortunately that solution was not used.

Extremely Disappointing Experience with Mixbook

I had high expectations for Mixbook based on their reputation, but my experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I placed an order worth over $566 well in advance of Christmas to ensure I had plenty of time to receive my custom photo books, but the process has been a complete nightmare.
1. My order was delivered to the wrong address, and now my private photo books are out there somewhere with no idea who has them. This is a serious privacy concern.
2. I spent 1 hour and 13 minutes on the phone with their delivery company, UniUni, trying to resolve the issue, only to get no clear answers or resolution.
3. Mixbook’s customer service has been slow and unresponsive. Despite providing all the information they requested, I’ve received little communication or meaningful updates.

While they did offer to reprint my order and gave a token compensation of $27.97, this doesn’t come close to addressing the inconvenience, stress, and wasted time this experience has caused. For a company that charges premium prices, I expected much better service and accountability.

I won’t be using Mixbook again and would not recommend them to others based on this experience.

As many others have said, the customer service experience is abysmal. We have ordered 8 of their photo books. The first one had an issue based on a software problem. They fixed that. Then books 2 through 5 were great and we were happy with those. But the last 3 books we’ve ordered have had major issues with layout errors, lines/streaks through the photos on nearly every page, and misaligned covers. We’ve gone back-and-forth with customer service and they have now sent us their third attempt at getting these right and they are still totally messed up. I don’t understand why they’re not physically quality checking these photo books that have had to be reprinted so many times before sending them out… again! Is anyone in their leadership even noticing all these negative reviews?

I’ve been ordering annual Christmas books from them for years. They must have sold out because books are same quality but three times the cost and take over three weeks to deliver. Sadly this is our final book with them.
