Beautiful library. Settled in an old style building. Vast and spacious. The interior was warm and cozy. We mainly visited the kid section, so that area was a bit busier than the rest of the library. The other part was so quiet that you can hear the sounds of footsteps or page turning.

The kid section was huge and had a lot of books catering to different age groups. They also have an activity area and tech tables where children can use iPads or computers for free.

An excellent facility in Redwood City very close to the railway station. Any resident can get a permanent card free of charge while a visitor can get a temporary registration valid for 90 days. It has a mini discussion room, a big room to conduct collaborative workshops. Would love to visit as many times as possible.

I used to love taking my kids to the main library in Redwood City, but recently, things have changed, and I'm concerned. There are many homeless individuals using the library, and I was shocked when I opened the bathroom door to find someone who appeared homeless inappropriately cleaning themselves. This could have been very upsetting for my five-year-old daughter. I don’t understand why they can’t use the main bathroom instead of the small children’s bathroom, which only has a tiny toilet and sink. It feels unsafe, and I hope the library can fix this to make it a better place for families again.

This library is huge and has a great children's area. Lots of things for the kids to do. Including idpad staions for the younger children to learn at. They have regular weekly storytimes in English and Spanish. Their collection of Spanish books is also larger than most libraries in the area. I love to come here between 12-3pm when it's the quietest and least crowded in the children's area.
