I recently had the pleasure of staying at Holiday Inn Express Oakdale, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and eager to assist with anything we needed. Their professionalism and friendliness made a lasting impression.

The hotel itself was impeccably clean. Every corner—from the lobby to the guest rooms—was maintained to the highest standards, creating a fresh and inviting atmosphere. Our room was spotless, well-appointed, and incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day.

Another standout feature was the attention to detail. Whether it was the thoughtful amenities, well-kept common areas, or the seamless check-in and check-out process, every aspect of our stay was handled with care.

I highly recommend Holiday Inn Express Oakdale to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay. we will definitely be returning!

I arrived around 3:30pm, came to the front desk,

made the checking process and the receptionist gave me my room key, my family and I went to our room after 6 hours of driving and the room was open. The housekeeping in charge of my room was at the room in front of ours and she told me our room wasn't ready....that the room waa very dirty and needed more time, I had to go back to get another room and the receptionist told me "oh! You can wait for that room 225, it is big and your kid can run how much he wants" not even an apology or minimum effort to understand that we were tired and needed the room ASAP. I asked please just give us whatever you have available, finally we got another room (2 nights reservation) but next day we went out back to rest around 1pm, my toddler was sleeping on my arms and when we tried to opern the room door, the room key didnt work... so I had to go back to front desk to request assistance, at this time was very disappointed about the service. I loved the town and facilities looks like they work on them to renew them, but will be nice to work in customer service....

I came in late at night with my teen and was greeted with a smiling face. Yolanda was very fast with checking me in and giving us all the information needed. She was very helpful when I came back downstairs looking for some additional items. I felt very comfortable staying there with my family. Breakfast was also great!

Overall, my experience was very good. Only exception was the temperature of the hot water in the shower. It was just above lukewarm. Other than that, the room is clean, the bed was clean and semi comfy. The bathroom was modern and clean. The premises was well kept and very welcoming in a small town like Oakdale. The staff was pleasant as well.

If you have to overnight near Modesto for softball, this is your place! Close to Rainbow Fields for the early am games. If you know, you know!
Yolanda was amazing and helped us get settled quickly and even provided us with some breakfast options as we had to leave before it opened for an 8 a.m. game. She was super friendly and gave us her “favorite” room. She was a lovely employee.
The beds were comfortable with a LOT of USB plugs and outlets. The shower is big with nice amenities that smelled good.
My only complaint is the rooms didn’t have carpet but that’s a personal preference and wouldn’t deter me from staying here again.

We stayed at this hotel for a softball tournament at Rainbow Fields, so we got in late and checked out early however our stay was amazing. Yolanda at the front desk was THE BEST. Upon hearing that we had to depart very early and would miss breakfast, she brought out some food for our athlete!
The hotel was clean, well lit and quiet.
The beds were comfortable and the showers hot and had good shampoo, conditioner and lotion.
My only complaint was the tile floors- there is no carpet which is just a personal preference.
We will definitely return the next time our softball travels necessitate an overnight stay.

My wife and I made a one night visit to the hotel for a Mother’s Day get away. The woman working the front desk initially was very friendly and check in went smooth. Unfortunately this hotel has laminate floors and is the loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. To compound that the night staff decided to check in a family of 7 into the room above us at midnight. They proceeded to move furniture and stomp around for an hour. The hotel was nowhere near full and it was a poor choice. Laminate floors really? Won’t be back here and I more often am booking other brand hotels after my last couple Holiday inn express visits.

I had a pleasant stay at this clean Holiday Inn Express. The only 2 drawbacks I can really state were the lack of carpets on the floors in the room. It was all just laminate/linoleum. The other was the shower seemed to have limited hot water. Even when I first got in it wasn't very hot. Just a tad above lukewarm.

Other than that, the staff was friendly. The place was remarkably clean and well maintained.
