The staff and the atmosphere can't be beat! We have stayed multiple times and will continue to come back. The fishing is top notch as well as the accommodations. Even the small camper cabins are wonderful. We absolutely can't wait til our next adventure!

We just stayed at the resort over last week and the cabin was in a great spot. Housekeeping left a lot to be desired. The windows that overlooked the river were very dirty and we noticed cobwebs in several places. The dishes were were dirty and had to be rewashed. There were two coffee makers but neither one worked well. The cabin had Dish TV but the remote did not work. Three days total was around 1800 bucks so overall the bag for the buck was just not there.

Stayed in 1 of the camper cabins. It was nice. The place is peaceful and very pretty scenery. The staff is nice and the place is very well kept. I rented a boat 1 day and enjoyed my time on the river.

We've been coming to The White Buffalo Resort since we first stumbled on it nearly 25 years ago. We fell in love with the incredible scenery, location & fishing. It's one of the most scenic expressions of God's creativity within a reasonable driving distance from our home in Alabama. Over the years, each owner has added a little improvement, but NONE as much as the current owner's Mathew & Kyla Leiboult (and family)! The improvements, but mostly the standard of excellence, has caused us to fall in love with the place all over again. From housekeeping to grounds care, to service, the place is absolutely 5 STAR. It's quite clear this family is cut out for service~every detail is covered with excellence. That's the only word I can come up with that fits. EXCELLENCE.
Yes, it's still a fish camp and campground, but it's the nicest place we've ever stayed that offers those things! We will return again and again!
***New WiFi was installed the weekend before we arrived, and it was excellent (of course) even in our cabin on the farthest end of the property! We streamed Netflix and our favorite TV shows when we were in the cabin <3

Loved it here. Came for the eclipse and couldn't have picked a better spot. Camped in our trailer, spot by the White River. Small campground, not crowded. Nice owners and staff was helpful and friendly. Wifi is weak, so if that is important then bring your StarLink or go somewhere else. Cabins looked nice though we did not stay in one. Boat rental, canoes and kayaks too I think. If you fish there is plenty of that. We hiked to White River Bluff, had to be ferried across the river. Primitive trail, spectacular views from the top. Really sweet small family run resort.
