This is a great place to stay the staff are amazing, I stay here about 4x a year for my work. They staff greets me and remembers my preference of bottom floor room. So nice and helpful, I love your coffee machine that makes a big difference, it is great to have hot coffee at all hours. Thank you

Peaceful, right off the 99, easy on and off, plenty of fast food places around within walking distance. Room are comfortable and noise is at a minimum. I'd Stay again. Breakfast is ok, great from family. Parking is easy and safe, for car and work rigs, busses too.

My friend absolutely loved the bed and wanted to take it home. I myself enjoyed the pancake making machine during breakfast hours. All staff were courteous and rooms were clean. Within walking distance to several fast food establishments and gas stations.

The room was clean and comfortable. However, I would like to point out that the hotel pool was closed during my stay, and there was no notice about this on the website at the time I made my reservation..

Nice clean hotel - ladies at front desk were awesome, especially Payton. Breakfast was a plus. Hotel was quiet except for train that came thru at night. ( several times) some around hotel , jack in the box, Carls Jr. and Panda Express all within walking distance

Although we had a great experience, there is little improvements that could make a huge difference. Change outdated charging ports. Make sure beds don’t make noise while you sleep. And make sure there is a way to connect devices to WiFi as easily as possible. Plus not sure why the front desk gave us a password when the only thing you need to provide is the room number and last name on the booking. At least on weekends extend the hours for breakfast so you can somewhat sleep in.

Positive: The cleanliness and the location to my work. It was quite a bit cheaper than what you can get in Merced and I think quite a bit better. Also the breakfast was tops! Negative: I wished that this place has a hot tub or at least heated their pool in the winter.

We've stayed here twice now and have nothing but good things to say about the Holiday Inn Express in Chowchilla. Each time, the rooms were clean the beds comfortable. The continental breakfast was very good and I even had time to try out the (tiny) gym. Everything met and exceeded our expectations. We won't hesitate to book another family stay again in the future.
