I was so impressed by the cast members no matter where they were assigned in the park. Everyone catered so well to families and brought out positivity and kindness. We had a great day in the park without many obscene lines at all. We were glad we spent a little extra for the lightning lane multi pass which came with a photopass. Got a few great photos of my son and I as souvenirs.

One day was the perfect amount of time to explore this park.

Some suggestions:
-You can save a ton by taking advantage of their carry in allowance in small softsided coolers.
-If you're borderline on taking a stroller-bring it. If nothing else, it's a great spot to stow your stuff while on rides.
-Always go left. Security lines, other entrances move faster on the left because most people will veer right in a crowd.
-Look up where the water refill stations are and pack a reusable waterbottle.
-Don't forget a change of close and / or a poncho if you want to go on the River Run water rafting ride.
-Don't miss the shows! The Turtle Talk was hilarious and my son loved Mickey Live. Philharmagic was OK (recommend doing it though if you need a break from the heat)
-Mobile order worked slick.
-Reserve sit down dining well in advance.
-Don't bother rope dropping for Radiator Springs Racers unless you're going to be at the front. We roped dropped and still got there to find an 80 min wait. The single lightning lane is worth the money to keep your day moving, especially if you only have 1 day in the park.
-Take advantage of the buddy pass if you have 2 people going on the Monsters Inc Ride.
-Don't miss the Mickey shakes at Schmoozies!
-If you have the photopass, speed things along by making your phone's screensaver.
-Make your stroller easy to identify and never park it unless you specifically see a stroller parking sign. Cast will move strollers even if large number of people have decided to park in a particular spot that wasn't designated for strollers.
-A Disney brand bubble wand wasn't important to us. We paid $13 for a Mickey one at Walmart and brought lots of extra bubbles so we didn't need to buy them in the park.
-Baby wipes help for sticky faces!
-Catch the lights coming on in CarsLand right at sunset.

Well what can I say, but it’s the next best thing to Disneyland ❤️ I always have so much fun here. It’s literally a walk in the park! I love just walking through and seeing the different kind of foods they have. Oh my, their Micheladas are mouth watering 🤤 specially on a hot day! My favorite land, is the Cars land. Every land has its own uniqueness. If you never have, you have to definitely try getting on soaring! It is one of my all time favorite rides. There is so much to see and so many places to eat at! This is one of those must visit places in California. I Love seeing the characters when they are out! So much to say... all I can say it’s a must!

I’m not super into thrill rides and my back can’t handle the roller coaster so we did just about everything except the roller coaster and the Ferris wheel. We also didn’t make it to the Soar over California thing. The water ride was down most of the day but finally opened mid afternoon which was a lot of fun. I was annoyed that it never showed lightning lane as an option yet they took people in that lane. Speaking of Lightning lane, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Total waste. There are only a few select rides you can use it for and until you go on that ride it won’t let you add anything else so we got to use it three times the whole day. And the one ride it would of been the most beneficial which was the Cars ride, which is awesome, took almost two hours to get on and instead of letting you use the lightning pass they want to charge you $22 PER PERSON to get on the ride quicker, like I didn’t just spend a bunch of money to get into the park and on the useless lightning lane passes. Disney lost some of my respect for that one! I doubt we will come back to DCAP it really wasn’t worth it. The food was good but the order ahead on your Disney app feature was not working either.

First time visiting. Lots of fun, loved the Incredicoaster! Do not recommend the Goofy's Sky School, feels like you're going to fall down on each turn, the cart is super small, caused me neck and back pain. The other rides are fun. Radiator Spring Racers is a 2-3 hour wait, need to purchase lightning pass for $22 if you don't want to wait too long. We purchased the multipass, but not all rides were available, so that sucked.

The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because the day I went multiple rides broke down during the day and I got stuck on 2 rides but they were nice enough to give me a lightning lane , the food was 10/10 , get the birria tacos , they were amazing , dole whip is also delicious. The Mission breakout was worth the ticket price in itself , they did not miss any details on that building and ride , ride times because of only running 2 elevators came out to be over 2 hours unfortunately but it was so amazing that it was actually worth the wait , this park is very beautiful and scenic especially at the pier but it does get boring after you ride everything, Disneyland is where the more iconic attractions are but this is still an amazing park , don’t skip on Mission breakout !

Went during food and wine fest. We bought the Sip and Savor cards. Much of the food was repeated at different stands that offered by the S&S. The information card that goes with it gives you other food options advertised, but you have to pay for those. We figured that out. It was not made clear. Some workers didn't even understand and had to ask others. We did enjoy but went others to be aware.
They also put out the hidden Easter eggs while we were here. We had fun finding them on our walk through DD and in both parks. We did not participate in the actual hunt because the prizes were meh.
We loved our time here.
We did the World of Color dessert show. I would recommend if you want to sit and see the show.
The street entertainers are beyond amazing and we loved interacting with them.
Love this park.
