Great Hiking trails, gets a nice view of the lake. Also a close look of the critters that live on the range. I walked the trail that starts at the end of Cactus St then going up a hiking trail that leads into the Area.

So completely remote a location. It's really the abandoned race track that is so neat but to walk in to property notify the realty agent first (no one ever does though). The Hunting area is the same. You will have to notify the people living at the lodge there so as to not get reamed by fish and game. Honestly the view is incredible. my girl has thousands of photos from one day and night there. Still sorting through the lot of colorful shots. Not sure if the game for seasonal hunting is much available as I was mostly across the street. There are many quail if that is what you care to hunt. I can't wait to get another chance to go back there.

Came here to shoot some upland game take it home and eat it... Saw some upland squirrel tracks, followed them into a draw and cornered the critter... It was so darn cute I just couldn't pull the trigger. Ended up going to in-n-out for a burger and animal fries. Best day ever!

Went hoping to bag a rabbit or two but ended up just taking my shotgun for a walk. I can’t complain though, it was nice getting out and doing some hiking anyway.

It is a good place to go hunting for dove and rabbits. In the Summer rattlesnakes start to come out as soon as it starts to cool down in the evening.
