Yo I came here today (4/18/2025) and it was my first time hiking this joint. My legs are tired so not sure if that’s good or bad to yall reading this review. Anyways, very nature low noise good trails. Some incline or you can opt out for the easier trails. People being their pets like dogs and horses. They walk the dogs and the horses carry their owners. I didn’t see anyone walking their turtle so idk if you wanna bring it here for a walk.

Anyways nature wise, I saw a bunch of birds and of many kinds (just check out the pictures I added and you know what add me on the gram @jluzphoto). There’s also deer and like other animals. We did come across a rabbit of sorts with no head, don’t know what did it but I’d take it as a warning to stay out?!

There’s a cool abandoned house, lowkey creepy if you ask me cuz there was a game cam pointing right at it and it makes me wonder if it’s haunted or some. I did add a photo of the house (add me on the gram @jluzphoto).

Anyways, I’d totally go back if I’m ever in the area specifically for hiking. I rate this place 14 out of 14. Always check me out on the gram if you haven’t done so after reading this wonderful review @jluzphoto

Horseback riding is great. Some trails are a bit challenging, but overall a great place to ride. Big parking area, restrooms available, no entrance fee.

Great trail. Super cool views. Watch out for snakes. Muddy in some areas. Would recommend hiking boots as opposed to hiking shoes.

Great nature preserve to reconnect and ground ones self in nature without being crowded by others.

This is the kind of place to go if you want to escape the crowds. I really liked this place for that reason. I only seen one other person on the trail at midday! There are two trails to take in order to get into the park. The first one is by the parking lot and the other one is up the road. You can take either one because its a loop trail. If you do take the one by the parking lot the trail is narrow and there's not much to see at first until you've gone maybe two miles, if that. After that it opens up. I seen a lone coyote, squirrels, acorn woodpeckers, and other birds. Be safe and have fun!

Great park! Great trails! You can ride for hours upon hours, but there are also trails that you can use to do a short loop if you don't want to keep going.

It's ALWAYS beautiful and peaceful. Great for horses.

The only thing that can be expected in this environment is rattle snake. Be very careful.

Beautiful park with trails through the woods. Makes you feel like you are out in the wilderness, but yet so close to town. Love seeing the occasional deer and other wildlife.

Today was gloomy and cloudy. I got feel cold winds hit my face that made me feel like something new. The trail seemed empty but then I ran into 3 people on my path. Then another person on their horse going into the trail. I did see a bicyclists. I saw nice blue jay birds flying. The dirt was muddy and lots of greenery plus the views were nice. I will definitely come back with some of my friends to go in deeper into the trails.
