This is a very small museum with more of a local flavor than a state park feel. We likely would not have gone if not for the State Parks Club 52. Having said that, we did enjoy learning the history of the area. We especially enjoyed learning about the harvestingof mussels/button making history of the area.

This museum had some very interesting info concerning the button, steamboat, and logging industry on the lower White River in the sorry central part of Arkansas.

Its so bad I wish I could give it a 0 but i give it a 1. There was a rotten egg in my salad and the water had grey hairs in it my brother went there and he found a hair in his steak and the waiter asked him for a sloppy ?. Worst experience ever , do not recommend.

This place is AWESOME I love museums and being so close to one this fun is great! It is small but it still has a lot of cool facts that I would never have known before about Prarie County and the White River.

One of the smaller State Park facilities; but it's a neat collection of artifacts, memorabilia and photography that tell the history of the area. Definitely worth getting off of the Interstate & making a detour for!

Its small and a nice place. For some reason they moved the gift shop out. Has history of the area and the woman there was very nice.
