I recently stayed in the Buffalo Herd cabin with my sister and 8 yo niece. My sister uses a wheelchair, so we loved that the cabin was accessible. Check in and check out was quick and simple. The cabin was adorable, clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We were able to adjust the inside temp for the warm days and chilly nights. My niece loved the game room, playground, and all the area to explore behind the property. The location was also great, giving us quick access to Christopher Creek, the cute general store, and a little art fair with face painting (an unexpected pleasant surprise). Would love to go back up in the fall and see the trees changing color!

I recently stayed at Wooden Nickel Cabins in the Elk Hallow cabin. The cabin was very clean and comfortable for a four of us and had all the amenities you could need. We were delighted to see a bit of snow still lingering about in spots, which our five year old happily enjoyed. Along with the game room and playground area, it was so kid friendly. All of us adults were pleased by the backyard grill and firepit, and our friendly cabin neighbors. Truly a wonderful experience for the whole family and great location in Christopher Creek to see all the sights around Payson. We all appreciate the chance to stay here and will be back again in the future.

Hello! I've stayed here a couple times and I absolutely love it! I stay in the Buffalo Cabin when I'm there. The cabin is always so neat and clean! The heaters work great and its always nice and warm! Super cozy place! Staff is very quick to respond to any questions I may have. I love the back patio and the fire pit! The front porch is also nice, and has a cute swing. I love to enjoy my coffee out there. I would highly recommend Wooden Nickle Cabins! I'll be back in Feb and can't wait!

We stayed in the Bob Cat cabin last night and had a fabulous stay. The accommodations were cozy & comfortable. The grounds were beautiful, well maintained & clean. We hope to be back in the summer!

Quaint, clean and very family friendly and dog friendly! That game room and playground was a huge hit in our family. Loved the access to a propane grill and fully functional kitchen. Convenient access to hiking trails, only a few minutes down the road from good food and access to the creek. Overall very pleasant experience and we will definitely return!
