Absolutely beautiful place. Wildflowers, swamps and clouds galore. What else could you ask for ? First time being on the Natchez Trace and it was absolutely a blast. From Tishomingo to Tupelo, got me wanting to do the whole thing now.

Nice history lesson here. Was not crowded at all on a Sunday afternoon. Take the time to walk the short loop and enjoy the sounds of nature. The wildflowers were beautiful along that trail.

Get up early, put on your running shoes, and discover the magic of this historic natural village site.

I enjoy it with imagination. I imagine first peoples raised families here. I imagine kids watched the sun set as they played in the grassy fields. I imagine the smell of food wafting as the stars start to pop out of a darkening sky.

It has ground markings of the foundations of the buildings and some nice info. Worth stopping if on the Trace.

Drove to only find a cleared spot off the road about 75-100 yards. Expected more due to the signage and touristy info.

Interesting history. I wish they had recreated some of the structures. The info boards could also use some care. There's a little path that will take you into town .
