My daughter was married this weekend and it was a beautiful venue. The owner/coordinator never contacted myself about details and was very unfriendly to some of the vendors and guest. She was more hands on than normal and seemed to rush us all out. We couldn't even get access 2 hours before the wedding to unload vehicles for the bartender and DJs which had very heavy items. She tried to charge my family to borrow a single table for the DJ and tried to charge us Extra for security that we knew nothing about and never saw. I was impressed with the venue but not that we had to use a barn and only 1 bathroom for 130 people and not with the lack of access and help for 6500 dollars plus the rudeness.

The venue is pretty but the owner was extremely unpleasant to deal with. Everyone involved, including the bride was put under unnecessary stress because of last minute changes. In between pictures and the ceremony (with very little time) we were told to get all of our belongings out of the bridal & grooms suites. We were also scolded for having food and drinks for the bridal party while getting ready. I wouldn't recommend this venue to anyone especially not on their special day.

Attended a wedding this past weekend at Tangarray. Being in the wedding business for 20+ yrs I always pay close attention. The venue was absolutely beautiful although Rita the owner of the venue made everyone very uncomfortable. Seemed to be very much of a control freak & leerking around every corner as if she was watching every move anyone made. In my opinion if you’re going to open your home as a business it’s no longer your home it’s now a venue for a bride & groom & should be treated that way. She seemed to make up the rules as she went depending on who she was talking to. I brought brunch for the bride & her bridesmaids to have while they were getting ready & was scolded & shamed for not bringing enough for the groom,groomsmen & vendors (who I don’t even know). She made it almost impossible for everyone to get their personal belongings from the bridal suite after the wedding. I’ve worked a lot of weddings & this was just ridiculous. The bride & her family paid just like every other bride does they should’ve been treated that way.

Did a consult with the owner of the venue. Paid her the $1000 cash deposit and received a receipt. We soon realized our date (over 6 months ahead) would not work. She did allow us to change it to another date, but then we soon canceled that date due to many reasons about the venue. She refused to give us our deposit back after. Looks like a common practice. Pretty place, but beware.

Ms. Rita, the owner and coordinator for the venue, is an absolute delight to work with!! She’s straight forward with you, has the kindest heart and goes above and beyond to make your day PERFECT!! She is very detail oriented and makes sure that every thing you need and want for your big day is perfectly executed. So thankful we chose this venue and this sweet woman to make our day so special!

My daughter got married in May. It was one of the most stressful/non stressful days of my life. Wanted everything to be perfect for my little girl. Rita was incredible. She made sure the day was perfect, and it was. Everyone she recommended (pastor, caterer, bartenders) were the best. If you need to plan an event that Rita provides you would be a fool not to use her services.

Awful management. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
My husband and I had to cancel our wedding due to unspoken circumstances and the owner told us we would get some of the deposit back, it has been over 2 months since we cancelled and we have yet to receive anything! She is refusing to answer my text messages now. Absolutely ridiculous!
