So we have known the owners for a couple years now since we started going full time in our RV!! Our rig is 43 foot long with slides on both sides and let us tell ya !! There was plenty of room on both sides of the camper !! With ample grass out your front door! The hookups were very close and none of my hoses or cords had to hardly be stretched out !! Their campground offers two newly made ponds where we were able to walk by and see the fish,tadpoles and many different kinds of flowers…. Campground was very easy to get to with a larger rig… backing in was a breeze with the way they constructed the sites.. and honestly we are just ready to go back and stay as long as we can ! Oh and no need to worry about those stormy nights in your RV … they have one storm shelter in place with another coming !! Highly recommend staying at Whispering Acres !!!

This RV park is just what we were hoping for. It is in a quiet location only minutes from Tallassee downtown. Open enough to enjoy the view but with lots of mature pines for the country vibe. Rent is by the month at a very reasonable rate. The owners are in the process of adding features to make it even better! It is brand new, a work in progress but the campsites are ready and working great.

5 Stars - Whispering Acres is a Hidden Gem!
We just started long-term RVing here at Whispering Acres and couldn’t feel more at peace. This privately owned, veteran-run property is quiet, clean, and absolutely beautiful. With just a handful of spots (around 18), it feels more like you’re camping on a friend’s land than staying at a commercial campground.

There are two lovely ponds and plans for future amenities, but honestly, the serenity alone is worth it. It’s close enough to Lake Martin for a day trip but far enough away to be affordable—without sacrificing charm or hospitality.

Bob, the owner, has been incredibly kind and helpful from day one. You can tell he takes pride in creating a space that feels safe, quiet, and welcoming. We almost don’t want to share this spot because it’s THAT good—but we know supporting a good person and a great place is the right thing to do. Highly recommend Whispering Acres if you’re looking for peace, nature, and a sense of home!

This place is awesome. The size of each site is incredible compared to other parks. I’ve stayed in many parks because my husbands work has us traveling every so often. And this is the best one e stayed in. Peaceful country setting. Allows me to have a dog fence which is a must for me.
They are in process of a dog park so your pups can exercise. And a fitness gym which I can’t wait to get started. Oh and the storm shelters never stayed in a park that has them and I am thankful this one does.

We moved into the park about a week agao and we are Extremely pleased with our new long term rental. The spaces are Very wide keeping you from aving neighbors right on top of you. It is meticulously kept and the owner is extremely helpful. We feel right at home here and it is only getting better as he is still adding to availble amenities.
