Hired Shelley as my Day of Coordinator for my wedding in 2021. As I planned most of the details myself but was realistic with myself and knowing that I could not do everything on the day of. I found Shelley via a ad on Facebook Marketplace. It was the best decision I EVER made for my special day. She went outside of her job duties multiple times to help with the success of the day. Shelley kept everything on track for the day and had no problem taking charge. Even if it meant respectfully getting folks in order which I appreciated. It was a day fully of emotions for me but one thing I did not have to question was Shelley being committed to things going according to plan and as scheduled. Shelley was pregnant at the time and I admired her strength. As even though she was pregnant she never missed a beat. Heck could not even tell she was pregnant that’s how easy she made it look. Shelley never missed a meeting and attended the multiple trips out to Stillwater so do the venue things. If you are in doubt on whether to hire Shelley, doubt not more you have found your person. Trust she will be just has committed if not more committed then you for your big day. If I could hire Shelley again I would but just not willing to get remarried as I still like my current one lol. But a vow renewal is on the table…

Shelley is the BEST event coordinator in OKC hands down!! From the very beginning, she was attentive and made sure every detail was exact!! She made my wedding vision come to life and I couldn’t have done it without her! I recommend her for ANY event and will definitely use her services again in the future! She became much more than a planner, she was our sanity for 14 months and turned into a friend. I can’t recommend Shelley enough!

Shelly was hired to do a Girl Scout Gold Award party, high school graduation party and a going Tulane University party, For my 18 year year-old daughter, the decorations and Photo Booth were stunning. The neon sign she created was very cool. We even had a wonderful theme called sunrise and sunsets. Everything was perfect. The food was wonderful especially the spicy guac and spicy cheese sauce. The bartender was awesome. We had special cocktails for the event and we had all the details with her team for a wonderful event. That was amazing. I wouldn’t hire anybody else for any kind of party except for Shelly, thank you again . J THOMSON and Family

Shelley is great! I found her thanks to a recommendation from my hairstylist. We switched the plan up a lot but Shelley was always on board and ready to shift gears where needed. She planned my event in Grand Lake, OK, that was originally supposed to be in OKC. Shelley was still able to provide excellent recommendations for event vendors and pull together a great event despite being 3 hours from the location. The day of, everything came together beautifully. I would recommend Shelley to anyone looking to plan an event. She will meet + exceed your expectations!

Shelley is very committed to her work. She and her team planned a 25th Anniversary party for 200 of our best clients at a local winery. She went above-and-beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We are using her again this year for a graduation party. I wouldn't hire anyone else to organize an event- highly recommend!

Highly recommend Shelley! From our first meeting it was apparent that she was creative, professional and detail oriented. I’m the MOB and as such was bearing not only financial burdens but my own wants for our daughter’s big day.

Her contract including a payment schedule was clear. I didn’t even know what a wedding planner did so having her role clearly defined was helpful. News flash people: She’s not a fairy godmother and you’re not going to have a glitch free wedding no matter what you do or, more importantly, what someone tells you. If you I interview a wedding planner and they tell you it will be flawless, run away. What you are looking for is someone who will fulfill the agreement, communicate professionally and has the skills and staff to pull off your event. Shelley can do all that.

They say you’ll always remember how someone made you feel. Never is that more true than on your daughter’s wedding day.So I’ll leave the reader with these thoughts, I felt like I got to spend the day with my daughter and our friends and family without worrying about one single thing. People said it was the most beautiful, fun wedding they had ever attended. No one asked me anything except did I need a drink or snack! Shelley did that. She made us feel like our focus could be on the moment, and it was magic.

Warning: Get everything IN writing UP Front, and do not pay this woman until the end of your event!!
I am profoundly disappointed and disheartened by the services provided by this wedding planner. The level of negligence and lack of professionalism displayed throughout our planning journey was truly disconcerting.

From the outset, her carelessness was evident when she completely botched my husband's name and our wedding date on a vendor contract she sent us. Such fundamental errors set a disheartening precedent for the entire planning process.

Her consistent absence at vendor appointments was both frustrating and inexcusable. Instead of leveraging her expertise, she resorted to basic Google searches to identify vendors, demonstrating a lack of commitment and dedication.

Moreover, her false assurances about having specific items on hand to save us money were nothing short of deceptive. The subsequent realization that she couldn't fulfill these promises only exacerbated our stress and financial burden.

Despite her persistent inquiries about the drink signage my sister-in-law was crafting, she failed to communicate our specialty drink details to the alcohol vendor. This oversight not only reflected her lack of attention to detail but also resulted in unnecessary complications.

One of the most disconcerting actions was her premature departure during the ceremony, to get mixers for our specialty drinks to fix her error, leaving us in a state of bewilderment and anxiety. Her rushed approach during critical moments, such as the speeches, led to glaring omissions, including forgetting our special ordered almond “champagne”. We had an “air” empty glass toast when I’d told her I was superstitious, and she “took accountability”, and “apologized”, but refused to give any amount of refund/ made no effort to make things right, and actually left our wedding upset before gathering, sorting, or labeling any gifts as previously discussed, didn’t help pick up/clean at all like she said she would.
Her dismissive demeanor towards my in-laws was both unwarranted and unprofessional. Rather than addressing their valid concerns regarding power requirements and timelines, she arrogantly instructed them to "let her handle it", further escalating tensions.

Furthermore, her gross mismanagement of our budget was alarming. Despite our agreed-upon budget, she exceeded it over 5K! This doesn't even account for the additional costs related to hair, makeup, wedding dress, bridal party attire, gifts, or wedding bands.

A particularly aggravating incident was the botched save-the-dates. Despite her oversight in proofing and sending them for our approval while we were at work, she failed to ensure my last name was spelled correctly, resulting in unnecessary expenses to correct her mistake.
I could go on to list ALL of the other things she dropped the ball on/said she’d handle and didn’t but I don’t want to be petty I just don’t want any other couple to have to deal with this.
Empty promises w/a pretty smile. If you choose Shelly please be aware whatever she says/promises of her services/ says she only takes 1 wedding a month etc, she lied to us about and her contracts are such vague wording there’s no easy way to hold her accountable. I would strongly advise anyone considering her services to exercise caution and seek more competent alternatives.
