We booked an RV site for the weekend with our in laws at copper johns. We booked a premium water spot along the river. The view was pretty but I really wouldn't call it waterfront as you have to walk down stairs to get to the water and the spot we had didn't back up to the water technically. There is no one here checking you in so honestly anyone could come off the street and say they booked a spot. The cabins look ok from the outside but a little run down but can't speak to what they look like inside. The trash was a problem though and looked like it wasn't taken in days. Overall quiet and suitable for bachelors who want to fish was the vibe I got from the place. Didn't hate our stay but wasn't 5 star by any means.

We stayed there over memorial day weekend and we loved it. The new owner was working hard day and night. Bathrooms were clean. The area was well kept. We got hit with a really bad storm. He was out cleaning up at the crack of dawn. We had a site on the riverside. We could watch the bats at night fly around catching bugs. And as far as bugs, I hardly saw any mosquitos. Watched 2 herons fly around chasing each other. Did some fly fishing. I would love to go back and repeat the experience. (Except for the storm). The coolest part though was watching the fog on the river build up as the day got warmer. it made the place unique.

Here for 2 days and never seen any personal on site. They have you check in on line and give you a code. They said a grill available and none here. The cabin was clean newly remodeled. Very limited t.p. and not another roll available. The picture on web are not what is actually there.

The new owner bought it Monday morning, the day we arrived 5/20-27.
Of course a tornado happened on the 24. He and friends worked tirelessly to clear debris, and to put things to right.
Unfortunately, no power could be restored to the entire area.
I would recommend Adams location to anyone looking for a great rustic getaway. The cabins are newly updated and outfitted with a, and washer/driers.

Great location on the white river! The cabins are clean & have a cozy atmosphere for a great "camping" experience. Our kids look forward to coming here!

We had stay at Cooper John's several times. Decent price and accommodations. The best part it is that is right at the White river. I enjoy to have a cup of coffee sitting by the river at sunrise. It's cool, peaceful, and beautiful. My son (5 y.o) loves practicing his fishing skills and he has catch few rainbow trouts.
