Very well taken care of park area right on the river. They don't have tent pads like most of the other state parks though, and the trees near our campsite were dropping nuts all over the place so it was a bit of a pain clearing the ground of loose nuts before putting our tent down. Bathrooms were well taken care of and they had a few spaced around so it's not a far walk no matter where you were placed.

Very clean, quiet, and has friendly
staff. Well patrolled. Various wildlife to observe: deer, squirrels, birds... including black vultures that aren't skittish.

We always enjoy our stay at White River Campground. The staff at the trout dock couldn’t be any better. Always friendly and ready to help. The bathrooms are the cleanest of any state park I’ve been to. Fishing, hiking, camping under the stars or reading a great book by the fire, along with some much needed R&R… you’ll find it here.

I have been here 3 Novembers in a row.
It's a beautiful park, normally booked up months in advance, but strangely uncrowded this year. The only reason it doesn't get a 5/5 is these loud ass jet outboards destroys the serenity of the river. How about no motors above the Springs?

Great spot to camp out. The campground was clean and quiet. The kids loved playing at the park and seeing the dam. Lots of amenities and space to do things

Great camping, no swimming pool available for kids and river is too cold to swim in. They do have a small playground for kids and it's a great spot for kids to ride bikes. Beautiful view of the river!! No complaints, just observations. Close to Bull Shoals lake

Quiet and tranquil. But you really should make reservations a year In advance I'm told. You are allowed 14 days there and have to leave and be gone for 16. It's a great place to camp. Most ppl are friendly others not so much
